Larsson to leave Barca in summer
Former Celtic striker Henrik Larsson says he will leave Barcelona to return to Sweden next summer - after changing his mind about a new contract.
He is in his second season at Barca but injuries and the competition for places have kept him mainly on the bench.
The 34-year-old may play for his home town of Helsingborg, while he considers his long-term plans.
"Clubs can contact my agent. I'll evaluate the offers and decide," he told the Helsingborg Dagblad newspaper.
Larsson suffered a serious knee injury in his first season at the club and has found himself behind Samuel Eto'o in the pecking order this term.
He has scored five goals in 20 games for the club but said he was not resentful at the way things had worked out at the Nou Camp.
"After two years in Barcelona it feels right to come home," added Larsson, who was given a verbal offer of a contract extension with Barcelona until 2007.
"I am not bitter but everyone on the bench wants more match time. I am no exception."
Larsson, who came out of international retirement to help Sweden qualify for the 2006 World Cup finals, also wants to continue playing for his country.

yea good for him coz he´s too good to be sitting on the bench. sucks that he´s most likely gonna start playin for Helsingborg coz they suck. but that´s where he last played before he went pro so it makes sense. he should´ve gone back to Celtic instead coz they could need him and that way he´d still have a chance to play in the Champions League and play against some better competition.

Its a good idea but could tarnish the reputation he has as one of the greatest Celtic players ever if he comes back and isnt the same henrik....I cant really think of ne1 who has went back 2 their old club in the later stages of their career and done well.
