yea man i was just posting that, a win tomorrow will be huge, and Calgary takes on LA i guess we should hope for Calgary that way LA is just about done but if they win we could catch Calgary, but I'd say we are better off with Calgary winning it

no man, L.A has no chance to catch up to us, the only threat is SJ. L.A w/ their new coach are straight fucked, look at yesterday, we were murdering them with simple things such as line matching, cause they were so confused by the new coach. I hope L.A beats the Flames tommorow then they'll eliminate themselves from the playoffs, but i have a hunch that Calgary will take it. :(

Straight up i cheer for every canadian team(minus Calgary after last year) except the leafs i hate how TSN sucks their dick they go on and on about the leafs n shit thats one reason why i hate tsn, and besides that they have the worst announcers for games i remember watching one game in which every little while there would be like a few minutes without any of the announcers talking just silence... but then again its hard for me to watch hockey games w/o Jim Hughson commentating

We, Montreal Canadiens, and the Ottawa Senators eliminated the Toronto Maple Leafs and are tied in 6th place 8), what a great season, Thank you Huet, but Aebisher, I hope he shows us his true colors soon and Colorado, with Theodore in the net, I hope for you he's gonna be better then he did in Montreal, because he would be extraordinary for a game, then allow 4-5 bad goals a game for 5 games in a row...

Na that was revenge for naslund; the captain, heart and soul of our team. This is Matt Cooke; a third line forechecker. Doubt that hit will cause a big stir. And please no need to bring the whole Bertuzzi thing again , i swear my ears will explode next time i hear someone mention that.

I mean the new nhl brought so much hope. The new Nhl was built for fast and skilled teams like Vancouver, Montreal and Buffallo. Out of those 3 teams, i think Van has done the worst. I mean c'mon Mtl was rippin it up at the start of the season, until Theodore turned into a sieve and that distracted the whole team. If you guys had Huet as the no. 1 the whole season, you guys would be up there with the Senators.

Which is pretty shitty because we don't have very many draft picks to begin with and dont really have any amazing prospects besides Bourdon, Kesler, and may'be Burrows, we seriously need to improve our scouting big time we havent drafted a good rookie in a long ass time. One stupid move by Burke was trading RJ Umberger he had a pretty good rookie season with Philly 63gp 15g 14pts, which is a hell of a lot better then the numbers put up by any of our rookies

im not saying Kesler is bad, I think he will become a really good player in like a season or two, what i was saying is that we haven't done a really good job with our rookies, under Burke he never really gave these rookies a chance and Umburger was an example cuz they never let him play and then he went to Philly and showed he could play(the line he is on probably has a lot to do with that), i'm saying we havent done a good job with scouting and drafting in recent years, although some players we gave chances to sucked(Steve Kariya). I think they should have given Fedor Federov a chance, my friend saw him play in a preseason game and he said the kid had some skills...

I agree with a lot of you guys but I dont think Jovo will re-sign next season... Cap Space = 12.5 mill (17 mill if Jovo doesn't want to resign)
w/ that 12.5 - 17 mill, we should be able to resign Sedins and Carter. Replace Jovo, and get 1 or 2 quality top line players to play w/ Naslund
D. Sedin = 3 mill
H. Sedin = 3 mill
Carter = 3 mill
that leaves 8 mill for a top Defenceman and possible No. 1 Centre for Naz.
Me picks;
Wade Redden for 3 mill (Bourdon can play Jovo's role)
Sakic could be available = 5 mill/ Marc Savard would be good for around 3 mill/ Samsonov is UFA = 4 mill
^Any of those 3 would compliment Naslund greatly.
I'd rather get Savard or Samsonov cause they will leave us extra cap space for the trading deadline

i would love the idea of Savard coming here hes a very underated player every season he quietly racks up a whole lot of points and no one seems to care I bet very few people realize he is 7th in total points this season, and he will hit 100 points, I'm amazed that no one mentioned him to play for Canada at the olympics.

I think he's having his best season and probably won't top it, but will stay a good goalie, I hope we resign him but how he handles the pressure of the playoffs will have a big role in his salary, he's making 450 G's a year, I don't think he will ask for 3

I think it was a good move in getting a goalie that has proven to be a good starter, but we did give up a lot by adding in Bryan Allen he was a good d-man and i dont know enough about Lukas Karjicek to know for sure, but it seems that Florida probably got the advantage seeing that Auld has a lot of potential so be a proven starter, Bryan Allen proved himself to be a good stay-at-home defenceman and the fact that Bertuzzi will probably light it up now that he has gotten a fresh start, and I''m assuming that Krajicek won't be much of a factor this season, let's just hope that we can get someone good with the 6th round draft pick and it's not impossible we drafted Bure in the 6th round ;)

Agent Pat Morris said Bertuzzi had "extremely positive memories of his time in Vancouver" but welcomed the news.
