this is what i got from the "offical" snoop fanclub or whatever ....
+ Snoop Dogg in the studio for his new album! Snoop D-O-Double Gizzle was in our offices last week laying it down
with his crew, including the ArchBishop from the documentary American
Pimp. Snoop let the word out that he is about to drop a new studio
album that should be ready for release on Priority/Capitol records in
summer of 2002! Snoop also said that he was thrilled to be putting down a new record
and is proud to be a member of the long standing history of great
Capitol/Priority Records artists. No word yet on the title album, but
the rumors say that the set will feature guest appearances by Dr. Dre,
Timbaland and Ja Rule.

1. Kid Rock is dope as fuck, and is a respected artist by Rock legands, and it's good to see snoop expanding his horizons like nas said "always forward never backwords stupid"

Timbo is/was a great producer i don't know what y'all are trippin' off of, i know i'm going to break alot of hearts but he's more talented than battlecat, soopafly, meech wells, big hutch, daren vegas, and just about evrery other producer out there, jesus christ i don't care if you like him or not but i can't see why y'all are up on G. Clinton's melodies but not feeling timbos...anyways i'm gald to see timo and snoop on a track
3. jay-z, i've never seen this but i wouldn't really mind seeing him on like one track, the track on Roc la Familia with them was one of the only songs i liked on that cd
4. puffy, i woudln't want to see this and i doubt it'll happen, but theres alot of respectable artists that work or have worked with with Puff , Biggie, Busta, LL, , craig mack,ect. ect. plus Snoop and Puff have been friends for a long ass while

Actually a lot of us were against crooked i workin wit sisqo, this is a stupid move by snoop, he is losing real fans drastically, we want an album that can be comparable to doggystyle. Look at Nas, this was his life or death album, stillmatic, he dropped a hot as fuck album an to me tha only test it has to pass in order to be a classic is time. Personally I think Snoop's new album would sell regardless of having Ja featured, but if he wants to put him on there in hopes of making a little more ca$h then so be it, I just don't think it would make it any better by having him featured on there (and thats whats important, the quality of the music not how much it sells), infact I think it would make that particular track worse, but thats just my oppinion.

Put credablitiy aside for a moment, because real fans will stick with Snoop through all his phases, but when it comes to quality music he shouldn't have Ja Rule featured, that is obviously just a money making move because since when has Ja Rule made an outstanding record? Never. If he was just focusing on quality music & totally satisfying his fans he would work with the tight artists, like Warren G, Dre, Nate etc. All the people that made Doggystyle the classic that it is. I don't particularly care who he works with, but if he wants to focus on making great music he needs to drop the Ja Rule's & Ludacris' ect and stick to the classic making formula.

Your tracklist is cool, but it has no sense to post it. I mean.. we are talking about his next album, not about a Greatest Hits. I can list you at least 15 tracks of Hittman with Dre, and i can make a Greatest Hits like that. This aint the point. Snoop aint doing the right moves.

Timbo is hands down one of the best producers in the game, and yeah maybe he does sound better wit eastcoast cats but he is still a crazy producer and he could really bring a new feel into snoops music and just make it that much better.

Man.. it's not like that. You just cutted some words i wrote without quoting the whole phrase. U just did a typica journalyst's shit! lol. That's what i wrote:

Actually i got nothing against em all. Timbo is ok. Ja Rule is making money instead of selling drugs, so it's ok. Kid Rock.. is cool (i dont care about him cause i dont like his music, but it's ok). And P.Diddy.. he made money with music, so i'm cool with him.
The point, once again, is another one. It's not that is bad to work with em. It's bad to prefeer em to West Coast rappers/producers. And i wrote the list of those doggs already 2-3 times. Where they at?
