the artist known as G-Dep was a former Bad Boy Artist that had, imo, an awsome album. in fact just picked his "Child of the Ghetto" from my stash and wondered just wateva happened to this guy.
Anyone got anything?

He had a solid album but got dropped. Dame Dash talked about getting him on Rocafella but it never happened, i believe he is in jail now.

actually i was reading an old Vibe mag today from 2004 with P Diddy on the cover and they said G Dep had problems with substance abuse.

I think I read something on AHH recently talking about police finding this black dude half naked in a park in NY, all shermed out. It was supposedly G-Dep. But I don't remember if that was in a thread or news, so it could be complete bullshit.
