50 Cent caused a big stir near New York's Madison Square Garden on Friday afternoon (September 8) when he was pulled over by police while driving his silver Lamborghini, according to witnesses.
The situation soon became a spectacle as 50 calmly sat in his vehicle — even smiling — while police handled their investigation and a few dozen pedestrians looked on. The G-Unit leader was eventually led away in handcuffs, causing some onlookers to yell out, "Don't arrest him!" The chants were to no avail. He was hauled off in a police car, and his vehicle was towed away as well.
Police told NBC News that 50's car had no plates, registration or inspection sticker. At press time, police had not confirmed the arrest with MTV News nor released any details. Reps for the MC could not be reached for comment.

But an expired permit, driving without insurance and driving without a vehicle registration??? I dont know if thats bullshit or not but you would think a super milionare like 50 would have everything like that sorted out, shit.

Not cause I think he paid the cops to arrest him - anyone who thinks that is naive as fuck - but it seems clear he was driving around NYC at high speeds in that Lamb knowing damn well he'd get pulled over for it, and then not cooperating could get him arrested. Something like this would most def be good for his image right now.

did i say that? no. 50 cent's from america, so american hoods would be the streets that his credibility lived and died on (in this case, his cred would be pretty much nonexistent). no offense to the international community whatever whatever, but do you think american rappers care if theyre being felt in foreign countries compared to the acclaim they want in the US?
