A comparison between the pre-air version of the Simpsons and the one that made it to the air, with the latter being censored due to a comment about the Iraq War.

actually the simpsons writers took that line out. They thought what they were hinting out was pretty obvious and that the last line would of been overkill. so they took it out.

whats so surprising ? The simpsons have always had political satire in the show.

No that is true but it was just the form in which the political satire in this was presented, this was quite hard hitting and like you said it didn't even need to have reference to Iraq because it was so obvious that was the issue.

That last line would have killed the joke - it's good they took it out.
