DJ Quik posted these two bulletins late last night/early this morning on MySpace, so I thought I'd share them with the fam. First:

Def Jam is the business. makes me wonder why people on the west think that the only label in LA is Aftermath. the 'dr. dre curse" is what keeps hip-hop in southern california from bein' accepted elsewhere. (im so happy that i came out separate from n.w.a.!) hopefully, the busta rhyme's "Big Bang" debacle will open the eyes
of those who think Aftermath cant fail....big. and i love busta!

My ex-sister ja*kie has lost more of her mental stability since my niece tomeka passed away
ja*k is suffering from psychosis or manic depression. she recently violated the probation of her son thad*uas (who killed my best friend Darryl Reed/Top Dog for nothing more than the fact that th*d was high on meth) because he wouldnt give her money.
my niece sinovea (who pressed charges on me for money) was jumped by her mom's boyfriend.
sinovea, in turn, jumped on my niece ebony brown (her roommate) because ebony asked her to be tidy and clean up their apt. ebony moved out and sinovea was evicted.
its safe to say that my family is chronically dysfunctional.

i love the quiksta, but obviously something is goin awry in his head. if you think about it though, dude has been straight depressed since mausberg got killed. and i mean majorly depressed. it seemed like all quik did to ease the pain was drink his ass off. it hit him a lot harder than i think any of us could ever really know.i remember watchin visualism and lookin at him just drinking his troubles away.... at any rate, shit is not fuckin healthy. i mean, just look at the house of blues tour this summer, he was still bringing up maussy like he got killed yesterday. to sum it all up, i see quik with an open would that has never properly healed. his attempted treatment, alcohol...end result....the preceding.

he maybe never get the props he deserves in his lifetime like other huge artist, who have to die before they get there props
maybe 500hundred years later a new species will come to this planet and will find out what a genius he was and bump his music .. ;)
