Haha, that episode came on here last night...

Conan mentioned as a joke the then fake website hornymanatee.com in a previous show. But apparently, if you mention a website on TV, it must exist by law, or something. So NBC had to buy the address hornymanatee.com. And since they bought it, Conan & his crew decided to build some content too (which they didn't have to do necessarily). Thus, we have hornymanatee.com.
