NAS #1? Nas’ new album is titled Hip-Hop Is Dead, but that apparently doesn’t apply to his Def Jam/IDJ bow, which looks headed for a healthy first-week total of 300-325k, which should be enough for the top spot on next week’s chart

Don't believe it. They were wrong about Game and Jay-Z.

Nas has always been my favorite East Coast rapper... but I think when it comes to Jay-Z/Def Jam affiliated projects the company buys albums and cheats on soundscan to boost sales figures.

this is more like it, SOHH was reporting about 200k, Nas should do about 300-350k cause it is Christmas weekend he'll get a boost also the day after Christmas next week he'll get a lot of sales...
