Title: Help me pick out a new cell phone
Post by: Bramsterdam (see ya) on February 16, 2007, 07:44:07 PM: My previous cell phone broke on me after 5 years or so. The time has come to buy a new one, tomorrow. Toss me some suggestions on which phone to get. I definetly do not want a razr or a razr knock off (samsung katana). I really like swivel phones, as well as sliders, so far this has caught my attention.. Help me out dubcc..

I have that phone. It looks good but it's a crappy ass phone. You can't use your music as your ringtones, you have to buy them. You can't share music, videos, pictures over bluetooth, just fucking contacts. You have to use a specific headset for it, which costs $30. And for some reason mines freezes sometimes. It's still a sick looking phone.

I had the old Samsung slider and I loved it, but man they fucked it up.

Max Speaker/Ring Volume is super low and the Calender went lame. If you have Cingular wait for the new iPod phone.

dumb statement...do your research first...katana is made by sanyo. and sanyo's are easily the best quality phones you can buy...they may be a little behind as far as features go (up until now with the release of the m1)...but sanyo's are the type of phones you can have for 3 to 5 years without having 1 problem.

yeah i'll agree with you on that...i think the katana is ugly as all hell especially the blue one...

as disgusting as it looks online though...the sanyo m1 is actually really nice looking when you play with it.
