Damani and Bad Lucc have both been very impressing as well, they killed it on "The Big Squeeze", Damani with his playerish swagger, and Bad Lucc with his murderous rhymes. The Westurn Union is definitely an album to watch out for!

This is the first time i hear a song by western union and i actualy like the beat.
NOthing original but this beat is just cool, good beat to ride too.
THe lyrics are tight nothing incredible but its def the best song ive heard from them.

I'd have to see it to believe it in regards to Soopafly having any input on a Snoop Dogg album. Maybe with Tha Doggfather or Top Dogg, but you can't honestly expect casual fans and Snoop groupies to possibly believe that Soopafly has THAT much input in everything that Snoop has released since Tha Last Meal (the most influence he might have had on an album may have been with TBC but Snoop was trying to win back some fans with that album).
It's a shame that he'd rather follow the footsteps of Memphis Bleek and Tony Yayo and live off another man than be his own man. It's not like Soopafly is trash on the mic or behind the boards. He could have had a great career following Retaliation Revenge & Get Back and the success of "Bacc 2 LA" and "Like it or not" if he had done his own thing and produce for other artists. But if what you're saying is correct, he chose to play second fiddle to Snoop. If that what floats his boat, more power to him but IMO Soopafly's career is more full of "what ifs" and "should haves" than what he's actually done, which as I've said dozens of times on this forum, is unfortunate considering his talent.

If he can put out a group that no one cared about and put all that effort and promotion into an album that flopped commercially, and with the influence Snoop supposedly has in the industry, don't you think it's a little odd that he couldn't do the same thing for someone that's been by his side since '94? And don't you think it's a little odd that he would promote Kurupt, whom a year a half ago was saying "Fuck Snoop Dogg, Fuck Daz, and Fuck Soopafly", and not hype up someone that stuck by his side through that bullshit?
Like I said, if Soopafly doesn't want the spotlight and doesn't want the recognition and prefers to stay in the shadows, then I take back what I said, but the guy, and you have to agree with me on this, is WAY TOO TALENTED to be an afterthought in West Coast Rap like he is now.

the lady on the song is the same one as on "bang bang" isnt it? also, if snoop were smart he'd let soopafly/dre produce his whole record because soopafly is on a roll lately with his product (ie: dpg fo' life). in all honesty... i think sales are down because every album sounds the same, its always the same producers and its very rare an entire record is done like it was back in the mid 90's. if you compare albums from then and now, all the albums kinda flowed where as todays are trying to appeal to every region. There will be a timbo song from the south then theres a kanye beat from the midwest, its like tangled garbage today. if people wanna sell shits gotta be smooth from track to track without too much varying from region to region.

I think thats part of the reason sales are down but other than that, I couldnt agree with u more about how albums used to be done. It shouldnt be all over the place as far as production. Albums would flow more better if there were only 1 or 2 bangin ass producers doin the whole record. But the key is to have a producer who cliccs well with the artist. As dope as Just Blaze is and as Classic as Too Short is, an album together would not sound right. Understand what I mean?!?!?! Maybe a tracc or 2 but not a whole album, ya dig.

Not to forget "Dub You" you did with Kurupt, maaaaan I love that track, with Jimmy Hendrix sounding sample at the beginning, that's a real dope track. Keep that funk alive!

I have been listenin this track for a while and I gotta say it's hot as fuck!!! Soopafly is really bringin the heat with production and all verses are dope. Track has a real Cali sound on it. I'm really waitin for the album!!! 8)
