Depends..subject/situation, wether or not its aimed towards me, and age..
-
In the house yeah but out in public no.
-
Depends how old they are, what they're saying, who they're saying it to, and where they're saying it.

U should've added "depends", QT

yep
not going to school or whatever, but around the house wouldnt really bother me. my parents were so strict on it while i was growing up, but i never saw the big deal, they're only words after all
stuff like 'youve got shit for brains' 'ah shit' would be ok, but 'motherfucking cunt ass bitch' is a whole new ballgame

Once I turned 17 my folks were pretty ok with me using mild cuss words around them occasionally
Me personally it'd be hard to have a straight up cuss fest with my parents there.
If I ever had kids, I think 17 would be a cool cut off point for occasional cussing to be alllowed.

A little more detail about the circumstances next time, buddy...

Swearing, yes. Insulting, no.

this comment is so ridiculous...come on kid this forum is for grown-ups...do not insult ppl!
i said yes, cuz my parents have never allowed me to swear, i think my children should have the chance to express their feelings of anger or aggression verbally

I fully agree. To let off some steam by swearing probably does help a great deal to prevent physical aggression. Expression is important anyway, so just let them emotions flow.

I walk into the house yesterday evening to find my brother, who's in 7th grade, was able to swear in front of my moms. He called her a bitch, me an asshole and was keep saying 'no shit sherlock.'
So that type of shit, would ya'll let your kids cuss like it ain't nuthin' in front of ya'll? Honestly, I don't see how somebody would want to anyways. I may not have alot of respect to my moms but one thang I will NEVER do is swear in front of her.
And to me if my kid ever walked in the house and called me an asshole or my wife a bitch or just started cussing in front of me like that, I'd slap the shit out him. If they are with they friends, that's one thang, but if it's in front of your parents, that's called respect.

Why are you like this, man? There's a difference between cussing in front of someone and calling them a bitch...:grumpy:

its kinda hard to reply to that by yes or no, the other day i was telling my niphew to stop cursing and tryna teach him shit but i always find myself to curse. I'm not even able to give the right exemple so i can't blame the kid for doing it.
