Is Jevon Tha Realest. If so, then I'd support him and buy the record if it were reasonably priced. 30 dollars for a CD is too much by any standard. Why not sell it at a price where the market will actually buy it for (like 10 bucks.) You wouldn't have people begging to download as much if it were priced like that, I guarantee it. It's $30 for a double disc. Still priced higher than normal, but I don't think a lot of you knew that. The way I see it is if you want it bad enough to download it and are begging people for links to the album then you should buy it. If you don't like Tha Realest and think his CD is overpriced for it being from Tha Realest, then that's fine, just ignore the posts about the album and keep that to yourself or express your opinion once in the thread and then forget about it.

actually i had the sme outlook as you. but i gave a listen to some of his older stuff from gang related strk. thats how i started to like his stuff a little more if you listen to his tracks on there they are both classics. wasnt really on that whole pac bitting shit yet. suge made him do alot of the real hardcore biting stuff his newer stuff is nowhee near as bad dont get me wrong same style as pac but who cares tons of rappers have the same style as pac why wouldnt they he was the GOAT!

I think that the Realist is the wackest 2pac Wannabee Ive ever seen.
I recently downloaded 2 different albums by him for FREE and they both sucked HARD.
There was a "new" track with Kurupt & Roscoe but when I listened,
it was just "when the pain inflicts" and the realest had edited his lame vocals onto the track.
I deleted both albums because they were a waste of space on my computer.
If I had paid .25 cents for each I would have felt ripped off.
I did not pay anything and I still feel ripped off because of my wasted time.
He is such a blatant 2pac Clone!
My only intrest in this overpriced album is the DAZ track.
And when I get it I will be SoundForge editing the Realist off the track immediately.

I would pay $10...I won't pay anymore than $10 for a cd these days. The reality of it is, and what the industry needs to realize is that it is so easy to bootleg these days, and there is no way the industry is going to get around that. So what is the option? Keep the prices of cd's reasonably low. If this cd were selling for any more than $10, then I would just wait until it hit the net. Might I have to wait a lil bit longer for it? yes, but who cares...I've known about these songs for years and survived w/o having them in cdq, so whats a few more months/years.
groupies like the ones in this thread, or artists can get butthurt all they fucking want. but guess what...crying is not going to stop bootlegging. It's not going to be stopped...and when you jack the price of a cd up 300%, you got to be a fuckin moron to think that is going to help the bootlegging problem. The only thing that is going to help it is lowering the price of cd's and making the quality of the album better. Thats what groupies and artists need to realize. That is the solution of their problem, especially the no names like the Realest. I mean c'mon you groupie fucks, the guy can't get a record deal...there is no demand for him...do you understand the simple economics of supply and demand?
