I wanna show all these Lil Wayne groupies that their favorite rapper was way better a few years ago, but back then most of them didn't even notice him.

I don't really care to be honest. If I like the music, that's all that matters.

I agree completely. That ol' classic Cash Money is just crazy. They had they own sound, own persona's and shit. I used love Wayne. Tha Hot Boys was the SHIT. Of course, I was a lil nigga when they were poppin' but when your that young, that shit carries over wit chu. I used have a bandanna hangin' off mostly every spot of my body. LOL. But nah, they had they own style. Own sound. Somethang they don't have no more and somethang that's barely in the game.

Now, I think Wayne try's too hard. Not that I'm 'hating', becuz I ain't at all. He doesn't bother me, and I have no problem listening to him. But he ain't like he used be. And I own 'The Carter' and love that album. But after that he blew up and he's the hottest thang out, and all respect to the kiddd. But I do think he try's to hard. But hey, nigga has people biting his style now, so, you know he done came wit somethang.

I agree that he was better prior to his Carter albums.  Or maybe I should just say with Mannie Fresh behind the boards.

But I really don't understand how some people are so infatuated with him.  The dude says he's the greatest so people automatically believe it.  They think he's got some swagger so they try to associate themselves with it.  It's kinda homo if you ask me.

Well hopefully you'll enjoy Carter 3 because Wayne has confirmed he's already done tracks with Fresh so we might see something on his new album.

Carter era Wayne - very good rapper, possibly the best in the South
pre Carter era Wayne - terrible rapper with boring music and the occasional slappin beat

Mannie Fresh had a few tracks on Carter I, which wasn't enough to make it better than 500 Degreez.
