ok now for my serious post. LOL @ YEARS OF THERAPY. And you know this how? I think we can come to the conclusion that all you know about my personal life is what I put up on this forum and I never said i've gone through therapy especially years of it.

It's all about having great planning...we did one in April for the graduates and it was damn near amazing. Everybody put in $10 for the BBQ and the party we had the week before, and we had enough money for everything. I was doin the music for it, playin nothin but classic West Coast and old school music. Some people were playin dominos, some playin football, some going dumb outside on top of their cars.

i just had a burrito, i used both. tobasco IMO melts into the other flavors and lingers in your mouth while tapatio overpowers the other flavors doesn't last as long

for reals sriracha is the best hands down. i pour that shit into my pho until the soup becomes like straight red.

let me break it down for you while the kid is asleep.

politics . people from LA are usually more Liberal than people from bakersfield.

philiosoph on life- people from bakersfield usually find happiness by acquiring children/ a spouse/ some sort of family structure where as people from LA find happiness by acquiring material objects or some sort of higher/exclusive status.

race- people in bakersfield are either Mexican, White, Black, or Asian. People in La are hispanic, black, white, asian, or some race that's not black but thinks they are. lol

religion- in bakersfield you're either Catholic or Christian (protestant...but for some reason there's a "difference" between the two...don't ask me why).....where as in LA you're either Christian, muslum, jewish , athiest, or a fucking scientologist.

city land- in bakersfield, things are spread out all over the place and usually have big parking lots and newer looking buildings with a least a little bit of space for alleys and walking space. we give new meaning to urban sprawl, where as in LA anywhere you can fit a building or shop....there is one. parking lots are smaller and buildings are usually way older and arn't kept up as well unless you're in a wealthier part of town

weather- it's either REALLLy fucking hot in the summer, or really smogy and cold in the winter in bakersfield. it's usually always between 60-80 degrees.

other than that, it's like driving down the street as far as i'm concerned, people act the same way. root for the same teams, eat the same shit, into the same shit, do the same shit, drink the same shit, have the same shit, shit the same shit, walk the same shit, dance to same shit, talk the same shit,drive the same shit way, traffics a bitch, ect. ect.

and it really only takes and hour and a half to get to downtown LA. only grandmas and scared drivers get to LA in two hours from here.

I guess it all depends on the food. Like if im eatin some Mexican food, I only fuck with Tapatio or Cholula, or somethin like that. Never Tabasco. But cookin with Tabasco is off the chain. Tabasco and scrambled eggs is the shit.

WOW you know about Cha Cha Chicken. Pico and Ocean baby. hahaha I used to work around there, down the street in Venice area actually. but i'd go there at least twice a week for lunch. shit is so ridiculously bomb. 1/2 jerk chicken with plantains and spicy potatos. or the Chicken Quesadilla is fucking ridiculous too. their chicken enchiladas are hella good too.their watermelon juice is awesome too.. i love that place. its a pretty low key spot. i woulda never thought the food would be that good coming from a little spot like that.

but also try Abbots Pizza on Abbot Kinney , and they have a 2nd location on Pico/17th.

ive been dying to try their breakfast too, but they only serve it on weekend mornings till like 11am.

coconutfreid chicken is fucking delicious too, forgot about that one... although i prefer the jerk..

i always want to order enchiladas. but 2 is never enough to fill me up.. i can add more, but it just gets fucking expensive

also you DEFinitely have to try their mulato cubano, fucking awesome sandwich. they use the same shredded jerk chicken meat that they use in the enchilada, in like a crispy "roll" type of bread.

their soup is good too. i really dont think you can go wrong at this place.

tanj - you ever try abbot kinneys before?

I prefer the Santa Monica location, i just usually get better pizza when i eat there, but both are good. anyways the owner is from Queens, so he knows his shit. and i have a few friends that have moved out here from like jersey,brooklyn, etc and i always bring them there. once they get a taste of it, theyre floored and cant eat any other pizza out here. Abbots pizza has won so many awards, like their walls are covered with all their awards and shit... anyways its just fucking good, if you like CCC like i like CCC, you'll love abbots. Try to go on like normal lunch/dinner hours when they have fresh baked pizza, so it tastes the best. but the ingredients they use is all super fresh, the selection of pizza and creativity for some of them is just awesome, and the pizzas have bagel crusts.

but anyways to hit up the SM location, coming from CCC, just head east on pico until you hit 17th street, its right across the street from Santa Monica community college. probably takes like 5-10 minutes local from CCC.

and then the other location is the original one in Venice, from CCC, you head east on pico 1 block, make a right on Main St, go down like 1-1.5 miles, and then make a left on Abbot Kinney blvd.. go down like 8 or so blocks, you'll see this tiny pizza place on your left. its next to Abbots Habit, which is also a good sandwich spot.
