it doesn't do the mixtape-like crossfade, quality is damn good, and and it's dirty..but man down is still censored in certains areas, pretty much confirming this is the work of interscope, not a poor rip

Alright, just gave this another thorough listen, and i gotta say it's not so bad (besides the lack of creativity and substance, but 50 fans aren't really listening to him for those reasons anyway)..each rating outta 5..bty i rate songs, according to the artist..so if i give 5, don't flip out, im not saying like "CLASSIC OMG BEST HIPHOP SONG EVER"..i pretty much rate it according to the artists catalog...5/5 - that specific artists best songs...so ofcourse i like the song alot, but not like im calling it a classic hiphop song...
my gun - 5...this beat is fucking ridiculous, and the hook is great as well..50 comes good enough not to ruin this song one bit
man down - 3.75...the beat is great agian, not AMAIZING though..the hook is cool besides the "i murder them"...50 was alright lol

peep show - 2.75...simple ass beat by eminem & em was wack in it big time..50 saves this song from complete disaster
fire - 1...easily one of the worse dre beats of all time, no lie...buck was annoying as FUCK WOW...his flow was downright horrible along with his voice...props to nicole from the pussy cat dolls for dropping the worst hook in hiphop history IMO, and no, i am not kidding..2pac himself couldn't safe this from complete disaster
all of me - 5...great beat...mary j blige KILLS the hook WOW...this girl can sing her ASS off..i think 50 just ruined nicole scherzinger's career by putting her hook right before a song with mary's hook, who absolutely murdered this shit :o and 50 was good
curtis 187 - 3.5...2nd amazing beat provided by havoc..hook is really good (i dont mind singing on hooks lol)..50 was kinda annoying though at certain points
touch the sky - 3..great beat, hook is annoying though (especially yayo on it lol)..50 was average, but yayo's verse was pretty sick
so all in all, it's an alright album...to bad he didn't have ANY meaningful or creative songs (like a "gotta make it 2 heaven" or "baltimore love thing"

Just got done listening to it. "My Gun", "Movin Up", and "All Of Me" are pretty good. "Fire" is so wack i have trouble believing Dre produced it even after i knew he fell off and everything that shit just sounds horrible like a bad imitation of a hyphy beat or something. "Peep Show" is trash also i'm ashamed to say.

Albums Ok, Movin On Up, All Of Me, I Get Money, Curtis 187, Gun Go Off, Ayo Technology are all sick, Ill Still Kill (ruined by Akons verse)...Touch the Sky (ruined by Yayos retarded noise on the hook)....Man Down (ruined by the censoring in 1st verse)....Fire (ruined by Nicoles disgusting hook, she sounds like an ostrich) are all dope but have their flaws......then theres the type of songs which made the massacre shit i.e Come & Go (Dre sounds terrible on the hook), Follow My Lead (ino its a chick tune but its boring as fuck and 50 just doesnt suit the song atall), Peep Show (Hmmn i wish those rumours that Em had retired were true) and then there the 3 songs that have been out for a while Fully Loaded Clip (dope), Straight To the Bank (lacks something) and Amusement Park (50s shit but the beat is nice) which im bored of so im not gonna categorize them.....Albums a solid 3.5/5 and is on par with the Massacre IMO....

50 is looking for any angle he can get to get people to buy this album. I am sure it will have:
Deluxe Edition with coupons on Vitamin Water, clothing and shoes
It WILL be re-released with around 1-4 more tracks than the original and possibly videos for all the songs
Bonus tracks, but different ones for different stores. 2 for FYE, Target, Circuit City and Best Buy.
I would not be surprised if he did at least 1 or all of these things.

Basically look at it like a equalizer. Depending on what levels you record a album under will determine the sound quality. Not really recognizeable to the ear if it is a good rip but on a really good, crisp system you can pick up the differences.

Some of the songs seem uber short (like 3 min).
I really like "Fire" actually (should of been longer so Buck could have a verse), would make a better single then "Come and Go" which really sucks. This album is like 3/5. Most songs suck, most production sucks too. G-Unit usually has great production but this album is really bad. Maybe 3 or 4 songs actually worth listening too more then once.

i really hate fire LOL thank god it was short...the dre beat was average as fuck, buck was annoying as hell, and honestly, i think the hook might really be the worst hook in hiphop of all time (i really am not kidding)...50 was good on the track, but nothing could save this song from being a complete disaster
Come & Go was ok, defanitely better than fire..all opinion though..i think his best chance at a hit is the track with mary j, she sings her ass off on that song :o that's the track i been listening 2 mostly

I really wasn't anticipating this at all, and I could give a fuck if it were a tight album or not. That being said, I'm halfway through it so far, and it's pretty damn good. The production is absolutely top-notch, my only complaint is that 50 sounds a little lazy. It's like he knows he doesn't have to try on it. But its a pretty dope over all package so far, and I don't think anyone can argue with that who wasn't expecting album of the year.

Thats the truth right here. People on these lil internet boards diss 50 every day, for creating "wack, same shit" but when its album time, its like everybody expects a fucking classic.
As long as 50s Interscope, theres no way to produce a classic. Hes a cash cow and treated like that in a postive and negative way. " But GRODT was on a major label and that was a near classic", true but 3/4 of GRODT was made before he was even signed.

Oh man, in my opinion the album is pure bullshit. Some beats are OK, the lyrics are the same shit as always and 50´s flow really fell of . Only tracks I like a lil bit are "Follow My Lead" and "187". BTW: anyone know if they use for "187" some N.W.A. sample? The beat remind me of some N.W.A. track off "Straight Outta Compton", but I don´t know which
