That's a sentence used in almost every thread about Dre, Kurupt, Daz and so on. Now I'm not hating on them. It's just their fans are so blind..

^because everyone has such high expectations on Dre beats that all the new ones are "wack" or "shit" or whatever. "Come N Go" is a dope beat, if Game was rappin onnit it would be the best song in the world to some people.

About 75% of Dre's beats the last few years have been very monotonous and uninspired. You could say the same for pretty much anything that's dropped on Aftermath the last few years.

Sorry, but almost every Dre beat I've heard has had some level of dopeness to it...Sure, it's not always vintage Dre, but nowhere close to whack.

Completely agree and I'm a massive Dre fan.
I remember when that Melloe Won (I think) track came out, the beat was like a 5 second loop, everybody was saying that it probably took Dre a couple of minutes to make or it was a throwaway track but now every one of his recent beats sound like it.

honestly, I wouldn't say daz/kurupt all them are better than most of the industry but i'd say they're still better than most radio music.
dre i would still say is one of the best in the industry. the awesome-to-whack ratio is still in good shape. i liked most of dre's 2006 output alot and i like his 2007 stuff only a little less and the year ain't over yet.
