This is my fav Nas song ever and one of my favorite rap songs ever. both verses are brilliant, but who do u think has the edge, and before you automatically pick Nas, listen to the song again and hear how fuckin great Az sounded.
-
by the way I pick Nas but just barely. and Im sure I will continue to keep changing my mind lol, thats how great both verses are.
-
Az got the best flow but Nas' verse is more meaningful to me. Anyway this is one of the best songs ever and probably the best hook in a rap song ever.

on point! Az's flow is untouchable in that song, and Nas has a very meaningful verse, "I switched my motto, instead of saying fuck tomorrow, that buck that bought that bottle could of struck the lotto"

AZ's verse is quite possibly the greatest in hip hop history.

Man, how dope would that have been if they would have did a album together. That shit ain't happening now, but a brotha can dream right? ;D
-
The Game - Lifes A Bitch lol!!!
-
AZ in my opinion both are great tho
-
that song made AZ and hes been living of it his entire career.
-
AZ is legendary on that track
-
"Something must've got in us, because all of us turn into sinners"
-
Edges: Flow for AZ and Lyrics for Nas... both are excellent and simply calling one verse "better" is doing justice to neither.
-
AZ has the best verse I've ever heard behind INS on Triumph
-
Everybody in Poland says AZ was better in that joint, and I think that's true
-
Az verse better than milkshake lol johhny
-
i wish i could change my vote, i think im now leaning with az lol, that verse is perfect
-
Both of them niggas came hard as fuck in both of their opening bars. In straight up honestly though, I ain't a huge fan of neither of them but I love this song.
AZ, no doubt. That verse is just insane. Lyrics and all.
-
Shittttttttttttttttt, I voted Nas by accident. Fuck man. Always do that shit, fuckkkkkkkkkkk.

I like AZ's better, but of course Nas is incredible as well. AZ's flow is so tight, multis are sick. His whole verse is like bar after bar of quotable classics. Nas is extremely dope, but I give AZ the edge largely due to the flow and the multi-syllabic rhyme scheme.
10 outta 10 track

My thoughts exactly. Anyone saying Kanye West or whatever rapper has got some 5/5 cuts on their new album, needs to listen to Life's A Bitch (and some other illmatic tracks like It Ain't Hard To Tell) and then tell if the quality really matches.

Nas... by a little bit
