All I can say is: FUCK YEAH. Paul collected approximately $5,080,000 in the 3rd Quarter! Congratulations to everyone that donated, you really made a difference. He's gettin mad play in the media right now. Anyway, check how he compares to the other top candidates running for the GOP:
Ron Paul: $5MM
Romney: $10MM
Giuliani: Not released yet
McCain: $5MM
Since 2nd Quarter:
Ron Paul: Fundraising up 114%
Romney: Fundraising down 29%
Guilliani: Fundraising down 40%
McCain: Fundraising down 55%
Romney raised $10MM, however $6MM came from his own pocket which leaves $4MM - PAUL BEAT HIS ASS! McCain collected about the same, but he has continually run a deficit, ie more debt than cash on hand - he's not worth shit! And Giuliani hasn't released his figures, but it is known that he fired his head of fundraising a few weeks ago.
Paul has all the momentum, these other bums are sucking wind. Money talks, bullshit walks.
IMPORTANT ASS SHIT RIGHT HERE....
If yall are 18 and older and support Ron Paul, YOU HAVE TO VOTE! Now at this stage in the game, Paul is only competing against the other Republicans to see who will represent the party through the Primaries. If Paul doesn't win the Primaries, he can't run for President.
So the task at hand is voting in your state primaries when they are held - which in some cases is in 2-3 months!!!!
But here's the kicker - In certain states, you MUST be registered as a Republican to vote for a Republican in the primaries. If you aren't registered w/ the party YOU CAN'T VOTE!!!!!!
If you live in New Hampshire, you must be registered as a Repub by OCTOBER 12th!!!! If you don't register by then, you can't vote for Paul in the primaries!
So all of yall who want Paul as your pres, it is CRUCIAL to go out NOW and register as a Republican (Don't worry, if by some chance Paul doesn't get past the primaries, you can change your political affiliation back to whatever you want when the presidential election rolls around).
So remember, REGISTER AS A REPUBLICAN, VOTE IN THE PRIMARIES, AND CONTINUE TO DONATE ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY TO HIS CAMPAIGN THAT YOU CAN AFFORD!!!!
