Title: Eminem Leftovers
Post by: Doggystylin on October 08, 2007, 12:36:50 PM
What are some of his Leftovers from his albums, he has some amazing leftovers i really don't understand why some of them have been left off his albums

MMLP - Kids
Encore - We As Americans, Love You More, Ricky Ticky Toc

The Encore leftovers were better than the songs on the album

If i remember right he has a track called "Hazardous Youth" thats a SSLP leftover. Other than that and what you mentioned i don't think its confirmed which of his unreleased tracks that have leaked are actual leftovers from any of his albums.

"We As Americuns" will go down in history as the last great Eminem song.   When I first heard it I was like "shit, Eminem's done it again".  I thought it was Em taken his game to the next level and that his next album would be an even further progression on his past work, and he could set the trend for other serious emcee's to follow....

...along with "Americuns" there were a few other dope tracks that leaked like "Bully" and it really sounded like the album was coming together with the same quality as all his past albums.  This was from hearing the bootleg they called "Straight From The Lab"...I don't know how many of u heard it, but it was sick, it also contained a hilarious canibus diss track.

Then he comes out with the album "Encore" and I felt like only 3 tracks were up to expectations and the rest were trash.   I think al he did was opened the album well with "Evil Deeds" and closed it well with "Encore" feat. Dre and 50, but in between the rest was garbage, he even resorted to burping and farting to add humor to the album.

...also, to stay on topic I want to mention that one of my all time favorite Eminem leftovers was "Our House" that he supposedly did with Limp Bizkit and it sampled that old song... our house in the middle of the street... and the track was hilarious, it contained a piece where Em was acting out an argument between him and his mom over 2pac, and his mom said 2pac was a criminal while Em was claiming he was framed.... and the whole shit had multiple rhymes in every line!

i had that our house but the quality was pretty poor, the argument with the mum always made me laugh though.

Some book I have with all the lyrics to Em's song and an explanation for how the songs came together.  Although I think his explaination of how the songs came together could have been more descriptive, and I wish they would of contained more of his rare tracks.

And at one time I remember they were reporting "Our House" to be Eminem's single for the follow up to the Slim Shady LP.  There was also another track with a popular sample they rumored in one magazine to be the lead single, they said it was sick, and then I never heard about it.  Anybody remember that magazine?  Man.... I'm so pissed I threw away all my old magazines.  The only one I kept was my all time favorite, the Dre cover issue from summer 96 when Dre was speaking on his departure from Death Row.

There was also a track that was supposed to be on a Limp Bizkit album, "Turn Me Loose" I think it was called. His verse started with the same rhymes as "Who Knew" from MMLP: "I don't do black music, I don't do white music, I make fight music for high school kids..."

The song "Murder Murder" was cut from the Slim Shady LP and released on the Next Friday Soundtrack.

i've collected a few songs and put them in a rar file. tracks included are:

Turn me loose
Our house ( bad quality)
The Kids
Murder Murder
Fucking Crazy/Any man ( not sure if this is a slim shady lp leftover)
stimulate

i only have a 46 second snippet off hazardous youth, maybe i can dig up something better later. i also have some possible leftovers from infinite (although i'm not sure if that's official because some tracks are from the slim shady EP)
i wanna find that till hell freezes track if possible as well, would be dope to hear eminem on a dre( /mel-man ?) beat.

you're welcome.

Dubz or anybody else, if you still need those Encore bonus tracks, get them here:

We as americans

Love you more

Ricky ticky toc

http://www.zshare.net/audio/41580587ff25b2/

by the way, about that book that some posters in this topic talked about; the part where he talks about creating the song, the way i am, that he made that track when interscope wanted eminem to come up with a single that would top "my name is", suprised me how eminem actually stood up against interscope ( dre for example, is too scared to do something like that), even though it didn't really change anything ( he still had to come up with a single that would top "my name is". well i'm glad that the song was still good though, and that the way i am wasn't rejected by interscope for the album).
but the lyrics from the way i am don't mean shit anymore, when you see that eminem toned down his lyrics a bit on the eminem show, and even further on encore. i can't believe that interscope is really 100% behind this ( offcourse , they're for a large part responsible for the singles), because eminem says fuck the critics in the book, and says that they shouldn't take his lyrics too serious(besides, interscope wanted to sign him in the first place, knowing of the controversy). with an attitude like that, why would he still tone his lyrics down? if he was indeed forced, then it's still his fault cause he accepted it. because i don't believe that encore was eminem's way of saying fuck you to interscope.
i know that something similar has been posted before ( even by myself), it's just that it's a shame how he wasted his talent, especially if you read how motivated eminem was while working on the slim shady LP and the marshall mathers LP.

well it wasn't released on the original album, it was released on a bonus disc, so it just depends on how you define a leftover  ;)

Guys hit the P2P'a and search for Bad Influence, it's the same song as Hazardous Youth but you will find it much easier with that official title.

thanks for clearing that up virtuoso

Eminem - Bad influence/hazardous youth : http://www.zshare.net/audio/423301617accb8/

Eminem - till hell freezes over: http://www.zshare.net/audio/4233076f572f27/

i'm not sure if that "till hell freezes over" is real, maybe he reused the original lyrics on this beat, cause it reminds me of something else ( but maybe i'm confused)
