Bigg Snoop Dogg is gearing up to release his video to "Sexual Eruption" aka "Sensual Seduction" (Clean Title), which is the official first single off his upcoming solo album "Ego Trippin'", which is currently scheduled for a March 2008 release.
The video was directed by Melina (Eve "Tambourine", Ludacris "Money Maker", Ciara "Like A Boy"), and pays homage to the glory days of the early '80s, as Snoop gives tribute to the era of Roger Troutman & Zapp, Prince & Vanity 6, Rick James, and so on.
The video will be premiering next week on the 28th on MTV, BET & online. Dubcnn has two exclusive pictures from the video available for you to check out:

This shit looks like a Prince video or some shit. Except Prince is hella short.
"Sexual Eruption" is just horrible. In my opinion this being the first single doesn't give a good outlook on how the album's gonna come out. Might be one album to skip...
But we'll see.

But i think it kind of shows the direction of the album and i think its going in the wrong direction.
I really feel this is gonna be a letdown album. I thought he was going in a better direction after "The Blue Carpet Treatment".
Wit that album he tried to show us that he was going back to his roots wit his first single "Vato".

Anyone who uses a vocoder in their songs... eh, could be an homage. Only guys that can really pull it off, though, are Chicano rappers. Hint, hint on Fingazz and MC Magic.

the only reason to stay on top of the game is to change. I prefer music that I can relate to. and there's different music for different moods. I don't give a fuck if it's underground or commercial music. and don't talk about what I prefer. you're a close-minded little kid always going against the grain to be different and get attention.

It looks like they took a slightly humorist approach, which is a good idea. I've never been a big Snoop fan so I'm not really mad about this song. Although I only listen hip-hop, I don't think this song is very catchy. I highly doubt that T-Pain is going to be mad about this, but T-Pain Vs. Snoop Dogg beef would be entertaining.

By the way Roger was playing talkbox while Snoop's voice sounds like vocoder, Snoop should definitely play the talkbox as he did on "I wanna be from DPG"! A talkbox remix of sexual eruption would be so dope!

Remember when gangsta rap was cool, rebellious and running the industry with one leg and two arms tied behind his back? Now it's all "Hey - I wanna be gangsta, too."
But I think the generation changes too. Like how people who used to listen to Rock-N-Roll switched over to disco, then switched over to New Wave. You know how tradition goes.

Most people listen Snoop only because of his music, not because it's Snoop Dogg and he has three kids to feed. When trying to reach fans on the left side, you can't maintain a good grip on the fans on the right side, because not every person has a wide taste on music.
I mean who cares, if your not feeling the song... guess what, it probably wasn't made for you.
