I liked some of their songs. Never was a real big fan. I remember their song "Intergalactic" that was out awhile back and it was tight.

Yea they are dope...That's like the first Hip Hop I ever listened too...I remember my dad had a CD, and my Mom got pissed when I played it cuz it had cusses in it...I was like 6 at the time...

Plus without Beastie Boys, there's no Eminem....(He was quoted on saying they inspired him to start rapping, because there wasn't many white rappers back than)...

Beastie Boys was just like a way for alternative fans to listen to rap... I was never impressed with these guys I don’t care how many people I respect (Russel Simmons, Eminem) give these guys props

Been a fan since 87, one of my first rap tapes.  Licensed To Ill, Ill Communication and 5 Boroughs are all dope.

And hell yes to Ugly Duckling!!!  I just discovered them recently.  Check out Andy Cooper’s solo shit, he’s one of my favorite MC’s.
