Many, many things are already afoot for a massive 2008 on Dubcnn however we want to hear your thoughts and ideas to continue our improvement and to ensure - as we always try - that our true fans and readers get their say!
All ideas and suggestions will get the forum member automatic entry into a contest to win gifts from the "Dubcnn Gift Box!" - CDs , DVDs, Merchandise and even online store gift vouchers!!

Rud, try to get interviews with the likes of Suge KNight and Tomica Wright, new comers Slim the mObster, Problem, Lil Eazy-E, Lil Bob Gotti, even rappers from back in the dayz like 2cool, mr. short khop, devante swing
you guys are the best for interviews, you guys can make it happen, the reason i go to dubcnn.com is because u guys always have the best interviews.

haw to improve dubcnn.. overall i think its a super fansite with different artist and great audio..
1) live chat
2) more member feautures like chance color of the boards(forums)
3) music videos
4) show concert dates from different artist

An artists section, where you have a list of rappers that you can click on and they have there own page.. then there is biographies and info on that individual or group, then some pics and videos of each selection.

i cant really think of anything that can really improve DubCNN or DubCC but i'll give it a go:
1) update on DubCC, allowing user to change skins etc. (not really a big deal though).
2) try again at DubCNN sponsored gigs in England. i was quite happy when you announced that you would be bringing some acts over but it never really happened...
3) a Dr. Dre interview (pm for questions...lol).

Like last year I would like u 2 add RSS-Feeds for all sections of the board & the front page.
-I miss that members can't submit questions anymore,I know u guys r tired of whinning fools. Ignore them,I think most dubCC members appriciate your work.

Y'all need to hook up with Dogg Pound Gangstas (Bad Azz, Soopafly, Lil C Style etc..) all those rappers who we ain't seen in a while, y'all need to interview them. Plus a interview with Dr. Dre would be dope too, y'all could ask him about alot of shit that have been talked about here in the past ;)

to be honest it's gonna be very difficult for Dubcnn to improve .. outside a few weaknesses ( review section for example) , I can't see how Dubcnn can improve in a MAJOR way as a website ... without a doubt , one of the best (only 2nd to the formula) when it comes to interviews, always bringing up exclusive audios/news and doing a very good job both covering West stars and upcoming artists ... Imo the major improvement would come from the creation of a magazine or other means of communication but of course it implies more money ... still I have a few ideas when it comes to 2008 :
- more studio/concert footage with artists (I'm aware you have to deal with labels/arenas restrictions for that though .. )
- Dubcnn would score BIG if y'all can be the 1st to obtain a Dre interview about the legend called Detox
PS : your additionnal job consists in convincing Cube/WC and Quik to come in Europe for some concerts ;D

i don't really have any suggestions for Dubcnn ( the staff is doing a great job with all the interviews/features, support of upcoming artists etc.). but it would be great if dubcc would get some new active moderators in 2008. these mods should be respected members; for example, i'd like to see chad vader as a moderator of the westcoast and eastcoast section. i mean he's active, friendly, a respected member, and does whatever he can to keep things organised ( with only user privileges it's very hard to do that).
that way the staff can concentrate more on dubcnn.
or maybe you guys can finally complete the rare audio section on dubcnn. i can't think of anything else, keep up the good work :)

even though the website & forum is imo the best on the net a couple of my requests/thoughts are
an interview with lil c'style and if possible also one with swoop g and also update the rare audio section
other than that i can't think of anymore

yeah, live chat would be cool, mixtapes/street albums could prob use an audio section of their own, a page where u list links 2 featured artists myspace pages, and the forum could probably use a bit of a new look, other than that keep doing what dubcnn does, latest free mixtapes, tracks, audio, interviews, news, etc.

A Artist to fan forum - where fan and send messaged directly to highly appearing artists ( the whole DPGC crew for example, some is always being posted bout them)

I love the free mixtapes you guys always hook up, but I would love for them to have a section of their own instead of bunched in under new audio.
Also, I would love to see the new audio section updated (still says Sep 2007) and make it easier to browse (maybe by artist instead of date).
And to finish the rare audio section (which I have been patiently waiting for).

with 4 example:
classic hits
remixes and B sides from classic singles
unreleased tracks from deathrow, a.w.o.l. ruthless etc..
classic video's rare old video's
everybody loves the old classic unreleased stuff, and everyone is searchin 4 it , so why not put it in a archive, with the ability for the forummembers to upload their rare classic tracks!

Maybe a seperate section for all these up and coming artists that you put on the main page. I understand y'all trying to give these guys a break and feature them and stuff, but it's kind of annoying when i have to scroll past 10 updates of people i've never heard of to read about one mainstream person. Maybe if you could put all that in another section off the main page, that'd be good. That way the people who want to hear newer, rookie artists can check it out. Most of these people sound like they just made a song off of their computer and sent it to dubcnn and presto, they get a big feature on the main page of the site.
And more unreleased audio would be great too. There's tons of that on these forums....just grab one every now and then and put it on the main page.
Other than that, great job guys.

but this site is simply the best on the net... so I can't complain about anything.

Hmm, it's hard to come up with suggestions, since this site already has lots of good shit. But I would say:
- concert listings for hip hop shows of all kinds. well, maybe start off with west coast listings/artists first, then expand it once it gets settled in and gets a lot of hits.
- like others have said, more interviews with west coast legends who are doing new things, like big hutch.

i like that alot. and it has alll their albums mixtapes etc. and featured tracks they have done with other artists.

More interviews on producers. What there process is to make beats. What hardwear/software they like. How they hooked up with various artists.

The best thing you can do is, start your internet radio or PodCast.
Something even better what you can do is. Actually a Rock music website did it. I know we have some UNI students here. And each UNI has their own Radio Stations, and trust me, PEOPLE(STUDENTS) do ACTUALLY LISTEN TO IT !!!
Turn these DUBCC UNI students into DUBCC employees, tell them to run a show on the UNI radio. Which is very easy. As time goes by, you can also make a solo UNI radio station with permission from the DEAN(which is very easy) and name it DUBCC 107 or watever.
I have seen this happen, and i have witnessed its success, so you might wanna give it a shot.

Cover more music videos as they're being made like you did with Certified. It gives it a much greater build up. Also you could make a dubcnn youtube channel with interviews and behind the scenes with artists.

1. CV's in the vault need to be assigned to one person alone, then let people comment on it and the person keeps on top of it in a better looking view possibly with pictures of the albums and links to download the song.
2. CV's of Record Labels, IE: Death Row, Loud, Aftermath, Cash Money.
