Anyone a vegetarian? or vegan? i recently started working at Maoz, a falafel vegetarian shop and ive been pondering this, im not sure exactly, but this one guy said, i dont eat anything that shits, and i dunno, it made some sense, .. anyone got any opinions, ive been reading "THE MORAL BASIS OF VEGETARIANISM" by Ghandi, and its interesting stuff

i dont believe in worthless lofty ideals on dieting or life. just eat right, meat can be included.

My problem is that I fucking love steak, hamburgers, chickin, meatballs, bacon, etc. I'm sure vegetarianism is healthy but I couldn't subscribe to it. Maybe skip out on meat for a day or something, but no need to go all extreme and abandon it.

I look at it like this: we have canines and incisors and all those types of flesh-tearing teeth in the front of our mouths for a reason.

Animals eat other animals. That's how mother nature works. Why should I go against? No other animal is going to give up meat.
And when I'm out with a vegetarian, I eat 3 times as much meat as I usually do, thereby rendering their efforts useless.

the past few months I've cut back on the burgers and stuff, once in a while I'll have them opposed to every week
I like chicken and fish and I've been eating more vegetables and fruits lately
I wouldn't say I'm dieting though because I'm a stick in actuality, I'm just being more cautious I guess....
also it's a lot easier to shit without all the meat I was eating

its really not that dumb, its not that i really care that animals die, cause they are breeded to die, but do you know how much bullshit is in our meat, fuck even in our vegtables and fruits, pesticides, drugs given to these animals, Milk, do you know how many drugs are inside of your milk, that were given the cow... i know people like to simplify this as vegetarians are tree huggers who dont want animals dead, but i think its def a lot deeper than that.

Not too long ago, I decided not to eat any more kebab or lahmacun. I found out that, even when shops aren't advertising it, most of the time their stuff is halal. Now I am not against eating meat - that's simply part of being human. I couldn't live healthily without it. But to torture my meat to death by slaughtering it according to islamic procedures? That's something I refuse to acknowledge. I don't think I'll make a better world by not eating halal meat, but I don't want the burden of Meat - Now With 200% Extra Suffering! on my mind. I'll chip in some more and have some falafel myself, whilst advocating to my friends how halal meat is indefinitely wrong.
Seriously, I believe that if someone started a crusade against it, or at least to let the consumers know what's been going on with their meat, like half the people would stop buying halal meat. That stuff just isn't right.
The same shit goes for your KFC chickenwings by the way. Why would you want to eat such sloppy meat anyway? I'll have me a nice steak and some salad, or a sandwich.

Lol I think some vegetarians are morons especially the "I eat fish I don't eat meat" so they do eat an animal of the sea and yet they call themselves vegetarian. The vegans are just insane, true at least unlike the group i described above, they have some integrity but ive never seen a vegan that looks particularly healthy.

I agree with Looney, it is quite faggotish. And I say that because, just like some flamboyant gays, vegetarians/vegans are too prideful of their lifestyle choice and want to flaunt it in front of anyone willing or unwilling to listen. They are some of the most annoying people on earth.
I had a big ass chicken breast for lunch today and I plan on eating an enormous steak in a few minutes. I hope I made a few people cry.

A quick kill? They let them bleed to death. How is that a quicker death than by an electroshock? And less suffering... Do you really think those ancient religions have updated their practises by the current stance of time? In other words, these techniques once were assumed to be less painful. That doesn't mean that they are, especially when compared to today's techniques.
I don't know a lot about the stuff that goes on in slaughterhouses, but for dhabiha to be more animal friendly just seems so unlikely to me. I hope someone can prove me wrong.

On Halal foods you were complaining it was painful to the animal but to slit the animals throat actually is the quickest and least painful way to kill an animal. People don't think when they consider that inhumane. The point of a halal slaughter is its supposed to kil the animal in the cleanest and least painful way. As a sidenote, there was also a big uproar of Iraqi's killing Americans by beheading, but actually that's the quickest and least painful way to kill someone.
Next point on vegetarian lifestyle. I think its great if you want to do it and I applaud you. I was a vegeterian back in 2000/2001 when I first moved into my own apartment, but my problem was I dont like cook that much, so whenever I stopped living alone I was always eating what other people cook all the time.
Vegetarians are more peaceful people. Animals that are used to violent for sport they always feed them meat to make them more bloodthirsty. Also, as a business decision, to ship meat across the country and give it longer storage life they shoot it up with hormones. That's why you have women growing breasts at 8 years old cause of all the hormones injected in our food has altered our natural development.

I don't think it would be likely for a muslim to be so strongly against dhabiha slaughtering. And halal meat, well, I live in a country where over 30 per cent of the people living in or around major cities are muslims. There's plenty of kebab corners full of halal meat, and the Dutch also love the taste of it. I made the switch to eating falafel instead.

I am not gonna eat pork, but I have my reasons for that, but the fact that they eat shit is not one of the reasons. If you didnt eat no animal that didnt eat shit from time to time, you would be a vegtarian too.
