I always thought Daft Punk music would be good, then Kanye did it, and i wasnt too impressed.

I'd like to see it be done right.

more doo-wop and jazz could be good

def some cool basslines and drums from jazz, but on the flipside id like to see real human jazz drumers and bassists make the 'beat' for a song, maybe with some piano, i dont get why rap has to be so digital and so cut and snip........

I probably should know the answer to this question..
But lets say you sample a song, say..Kenny Rogers 'Unanswered Prayers'

And the said track does not sell much, would you Get sued??
or only get sued if the song blows Up???
Cuz I've always figured if you list where the samples comes from it means that if the song does blow, the artist that you sampled from will also get paid for the royalties...Right??
Or am i missing something here???

"Sweet Child O' Mine" has been sampled, by Juelz Santana and 2 Live Crew, maybe some others. I think a lot of The Clash songs would make great samples, but that might ruin their songs.
