Though i was watching a program on Nat Geography, where the B.Python actually swallowed a Florida native Alligator..

Reaally, by constricting it???
not sure unless the Croc was injured with a deadly wound..i think..
Cuz that what occurred between the B.Python and the Alligator.The Alligator had suffered a bone wrenching injury right above it's eyes..so it was unable to fully defend itself against the Python..But as fate would have it or karma that Python was subsequently attacked and killed by another alligator..resulting in the belly of the Python being ripped apart and exposing the dead Alligator..

it woiuld go either way. if you shut a crocs mouth he can't do shit cuz his muscles are too weak to open back up. all the power is in his chomp. i think if the snake wrapped his mouth shut, the crocs only line of defense would be his death roll, and i'm not sure how effective that would be on a snake. but at the same token, if a croc got a chance at the python he'd probably chomp it in half.

I'm sure if the Croc were to engage in a death roll with Snake, it-The Snake will probably let go or try to bite the Croc in order to get a grip, but due to leather and boney Muscle of the Croc that would be a very very hard task, not too mention being tossed 360 under water at a fast pace..I'd think the snake would give in and just let the Croc go..The croc would probably give the snake a bite for Effect...

I would go with an alligator, but a lot of that is because I hate snakes. These animal fights are fun to talk about, we used to just sit around at work and come up with all these scenarious and talk about who would win.

well the anaconda rolled himself around the crocodile until he couldn't breathe that was kinda boring to watch and very long. I question your video, cuz pytons and alligators lives in 2 different part of the world, are you sure it wasnt a croco or a gavial, or a caiman?

I Know..I Know..
I just watched a clip on Nat Geo Channel..i've checked the site but can't find the clip on their web site.
The program was trying to determine how the Python was able to swallow the Alligator..
That's what the program or clip was about.
It was discovered towards the and of the program that the Alligator had suffered an injury just above it's eyes, which may have rendered it vulnerable..
I just wished i had the clip to show you guys.

Yup that was the episode i watched!!
it was not a draw the snake somehow managed to swallow the Alligator, half way through digesting it, approx 6-7 hrs, it was attacked by another alligator, hence the result, which you see in that picture..

..Well from the prgrame the alligator that you see in that pic, was attacked by the Burmese Python.
it some how managed to swallow it, then half through digesting it, the Python was attacked by another Alligator..
For some strange reason, the Alligator didn't finish off the meal..just went for a quick bite then moved on...
The attack resulted in the belly of the python being ripped apart exposing the Alligator.I figured that the Alligator struggled to escape, but the from the Pic,it's undeniable the at the Alligator was swallowed head first,with it's legs close to it's body, and if so it won't have had enough room in the constricting belly of the Python to thrash about...
