Hey guys, seeming most of yall live in the US and own an X Box or seen one and its potential, what are your thoughts, I have been holding out for ages for this baby, why.......

The damn hardware spec,
Microsoft Name,
The game library it will build up,
Broadband gaming

Playstastion 2 doesnt interest me, to similiar to the PS 1, plus the current game titles they have are mostly sequels Tekken Tag, GT3, GTA3, Smackdown 3 see what Im getting at, and Nintendo one word for that DEAD, they should give up, that Gamecube looks crap, I mean the games are just for kids, no DVD or CD playback, bad mistake............

Im wanting an X Box but I still want to hear your opinions (unbiased please)

And what makes me laugh is these fools who got a PS2 for Xmas and are saying the X Box is gonna flop, they just scared that there little Xmas prezzie is gonna be dead REAAAAL SOON.

March 14th the UK joins the X Box revolution........THE FUTURE OF VIDEO GAMES WILL CHANGE

ive got a xbox,its my favortie system ive ever owned,you couldnt pay me to take a ps2.......if ya have ne ?'s feel free to ask

GameCube dead?  ??? Uhhh.....whatever man. I have one and it damn sure ain't just for kids. If I were you I would give it a try, it's a pretty tight system. I don't own an Xbox though(guess I wasn't much help, eh?).  ;D

I gotsa PS2, and I'm more than happy with it.
Game-sequels is often a good thing, as a game can be steady improved for each new version.
GT3, GTA3 are both excellent games.
And the best soccer-game out there: Pro Evolution Soccer is only on PS2 (I think).

actually there really is no reason to buy a ps2,gta3 and mgs2 are comin to xbox this year,so whats left?

XBox is surely the best console out now... PS2 don't come close at all...

broadband playing is also available on the ps2. And the name playstation can't be competed against, even if the machine was 10000 times stronger

well considering for the ps2 you need to pay for  40 dollar memory cards,a multi tap for more than 2 players,and you will need to buy a modem for yur ps2 for online gaming
oh,and xbox has 5.1 surround sound

Well this is how it iz......either way we all go......they still are going to rip us off either way.  I got ps2 cuzz i got it when it came out and i didnt have a dvd player. Now if i was to buy a system now......i probably got with xbox to see how it is.  Many of us now in dayz havd dvd playerz already........but i think the fact of the matter is this what do yall prefer:

Sony or Microsoft?????

You won't regret getting an X Box homie, but as far as saying Nintendo is dead is way off. I have both X Box and The Cube and both are tight as hell.

nfl fever 2002,madden 2002,nfl 2k2,espn primetime 2002(sucks ass though),nba live 2002,nba 2k2,nba inside drive 2002,nhl 2002,and all star baseball 2003

how many more do you need??theres still more comin though

and then there halo,doa3,the better max payne,amped,jet set radio future,project gotham racing,and rallisport challenge for a few more (as you should know these arent sports games )

im not sure,but if for some reason it doesnt come out for xbox,you obviously have a computer,so just buy gta3 for  the PC,that comes out april 23 i think
