Those of you on our Email Alert list will already be aware that today is the day that Shade Sheist is releasing the first ever "WorldTape." The latest release from the head of PutYourselfOut has been months in waiting and features Shade Sheist's greatest features as well as brand new music.
The new concept is the launch-pad for more planned "WorldTape's" dedicated to countries all over the world! This first project is the United States version and is entitled "Out of Sight Out of Mind" - the covers to which can be seen in full by clicking the images above or using the link below.
"Out of Sight Out of Mind" is now available today for Free Download via the Dubcnn Digital Distribution Network.

Props for that tape! It looks awesome! However IMO you released it a little too soon given the facts that Ego Trippin is available since yesterday, that I am still bumping I Smooth 7 which was dropped some days ago on the forum, and that I am still making spin Montell Jordan's first album.
However I will put the tape aside and listen to it in some time., good looks for that!

I Know She Wants More is awesome too, so is Lights Out and Roll The Block! Others were good too, will bump this for long time.
Those 2 first songs were very pop'ish, that Bartender reminded me a bit of sexual eruption with better execution and Keyshia Cole shines in that Where He Wanna Be, not bad.
Only one that I really don't get is Got That Fire, that's just too plain and boring.

If you don't notice the differences.. that means I did a great job of editing!
For Example.. Listen to "Lights Out!" and tell me whats different about it?
And "Realer Trees" sounds a lot like "Real Trees".. but grab GTA2 and notice the subtle changes..
I won't spoil the rest.. I did all the hard work.. yall do the rest! LoL

it's got a real old school West Coast vibe to it, the rest of it is dope, I like
more tracks on this than I do on Snoop's album

Because in order to get the best possible sound quality sometimes you have to sacrafice curse words!
The quality of music on the version with Dre cursing is not on the level of the clean!
Believe it or not.. it makes all the difference in the world!

However I look upon the way I play the cds more like I am eating food, if I am eating Chinese food I like to enjoy my meal and then having KFC or a Subway sandwitch another day and not grabbing a piece of chicken between two Chinese brochettes lol!

I like the sound quality...the songs have a 192 kbps bitrate and usually that's satisfying in terms of sound quality (320 kbps comes closest to CD-Quality) but these songs really bump like they come straight off of an album. Great job on the quality, Shade.
As far as the music itself, I'm feeling it. I think I'll have this in regular rotation from now on. Tracks that stand out the most:

MCA Records is what happened to BTWBTH.
They owned the remaining records I was unable to get rights to.
So I said F it.. I'll drop it as is!

"N.U.N.E.TIME" to keep us around and still producing!

Where else would I learn how to convert a file but maintain CDQ quality even at 192?
In simpler terms, for those who are like WTF..
it means I kept all the music at CD Quality
even though I lowered the bitrate of the files to 192 which is not CDQ.

Never heard of you until I read something on allhiphop which reported that you had said something about Eminem. It some kind of diss at him or something. and as I am still a massive fan of Eminem, I still recall the name lol. I am going to download this myself and post my thoughts on it.
You don't seem like the type of hard as nails cold as ice prick which some rappers (no names mentioned) try and portray themselves as being.

In simpler terms, for those who are like WTF..
it means I kept all the music at CD Quality
even though I lowered the bitrate of the files to 192 which is not CDQ.
Damn, I didn't even know that was possible. For some reason, I always thought that as soon as you lower the bitrate, you automatically lower the sound quality as well.
Anyhow, Quik did his job then, because you certainly can't tell that those songs are 192.
Thx for the info, Shade. And while I'm at it, I might add that I appreciate you interacting with the fans. I know it serves as good promotion on your part since you released this mixtape, but really...being on message boards (just reading the messages or actually replying to them like you do) is kind of a window into the fans world. Otherwise I don't think that artists get to know what (some of the) fans are looking for in terms of music.
I'm not a professional when it comes to the music industry, but if there is one thing I hate about this industry, it's that label execs and A&R's tell artists what to make, but really...how on earth would THEY know what the fans want? Surely, if you push something into everybody's throats, they'll eventually swallow it. Just look at Soulja Boy and similar idiots. But I'm sure that if more artists would be given a chance to make the kind of music THEY want, more fans than we'd expect would actually like the music. Everyone will always have preferences, but I'm pretty sure there would at least be some more creativity in mainstream rap music.
Just wanted to get that off of my chest.
