just downloaded it..will fully check it out tomorrow

How is this? The songs I've heard fromt his guy were hit or miss.
-
It's garbage. I liked him when I heard one or two tracks by him. But he cannot carry an album by himself with that awful singy flow he does all the time.
He does have a good ear for beats though, some banging tunes.
-
he cannot carry an album by himself
This, unfortunately, is the case with so many rappers these days. Especially rappers from the South. They make 1 or 2 good tracks and the rest is just awful or you can only listen to them for like 10 minutes :-\
-
It has some very danceable beats. If you are looking for something to get you moving, this is it. This album is going to be big with the ladies.
-
Wow...this album is about as pre-fabricated as you can get. Just look at the features:
Timbaland, Will.I.Am, T-Pain, Sean Kingston, Rick Ross, Lil' Wayne, etc...
Getting all the 'hot names' in today's music biz on your album does NOT make for a good album, fool!
No way I'm gonna listen to this. Not worth my time...
-
in terms of club joints or somethin to bump in the car, this is fantastic. The beats on this are phenomenal. In terms of actual "hip hop" (as many of u could guess) this is not what your looking for.
I got a feeling this is gonna be a pretty big hit sales wise. Its like he can release any song on here and it'll be a hit record.
-
album is okay so far.... but not gonna buy it... bone clone... lol...
-
I will say this though, he's got the confidence, microphone presence and swagger of a new star. He could use a little more traditional "hip hop mc'ing" to balance himself out, because he sounds like the love-child of Nelly & Bone Thugs at times.

no doubt. Can't really deny his flow is pretty decent as well. LMAO at that last part. I'd actually have to agree

atleast give it a chance.
Anyway - i agree on the nelly/bone thug thing. thats actually part of why I like him, but his voice is getting a bit annoying to me by now.
-
Somone hook me up with a link!!!
-
hmm... I was not feelin' any of the songs I heard by this dude so far at all ("Low", "Elevator", that shit he did over Clyde Carson's "Doin' Dat", etc.)
honestly, is this worth downloading at all and fully listening to? or should I just try to download all the instrumentals? somebody with some sense answer me or PM me a link 8)
-
Alright Im checking this tonight. I have stayed away from even his singles so I'm going in unbiased.

You hit the nail right on the head with that homie. Perfect to throw in the ride and cruise to the club or just some music to play. But as far as mic skills and quotables, you ain't gonna get that shit here. I burned it and gave my girl a copy. She loves it.
-
And the funny thing is their is a lane for a artist like this. His music is perfect for the clubs, the strippers have a BALL slangin they clothes when Low is on. And is around 3 million ringtone downloads. But for my personal music taste other than like I said to listen to some tight beats, it has low replay value.
-
man i love that low joint, boots with the furrrrrr, so bad, yet so good

Okay I've listened through this while driving - It's actually a decent album to me. Every beat is damn good, but as mentioned before, it really is a album for the clubs and ladies. I think his flow is on point mostly - can get a lil annoying in the long run.
I was surprised - I though he'd have the album FULL of guests.
My fave joints:
American Superstar, Elevator, Low, Roll and All My Life.
If he gets to release another single, If he hasn't already, his next single will be Don't Know How To Act or In The Ayer (which is the weakest cut on the album imo).
