I peeped the II Thread yall made in the forums a while back.. and I appreciate it!

I've done a lot of work with Dr.Dre in these last 10 years.
He was and still is one of my biggest supporters!
He appreciated what Mizza and I did by blowing up on our own,
in this industry that is highly regarded..
As far as the recordings.. I demo'd a great deal of songs
but it will be a cold day in Hell before u hear them because I don't possess them! LoL.
"Straight Westcoastin" with Knocturnal
and "Betta Watch" with the OG "In Da Club" Track
are the only tracks off top that I can think of that actually released with my vocals on it.
I wrote a lot of songs for Dre-affiliated artists too, however confidentiality agreements prevent
any broadcast of the specific information.. holla at me in about 5 years.. lol.

Kinda cool that you made this thread cuz it's a nice sunny day & rolled all the way home bumpin "John Doe" on the system....on repeat many times! :)
Even cooler thing was my brother (dude is 22 years old) doesn't like any rap music (or very, very little I should say). He's more of a rock-head. Anyways I picked him up to come to my spot & I had it on repeat and he heard the track & was like "hey, this is a cool song"....and dude even let me put him up to game on more of your shit! I couldn't believe he actually WANTED to learn more about your music! Most of the time I'll have some hip-hop going in the car & he's always baggin on it & asking if he can plug his ipod in & shit. This was some truely historical shit for me lol.

Shade cost me some sleep this is the story right here about two years ago i told my cousin that he needed to listen to shade sheist informal introduction so his ass borrowed the cd or downloaded it i dont know but his ass hit me up at 5 o clock in the morning saying damn cuz that shit is fire im driving down the 10 freeway right listing to this song fire right here and the song he was listening to was the urban gospel and you could hear nune and shade exchanging flows and was like damn cuz let me sleep even though this is my favorite album and all.

A lot of those songs are unreleased, aren't they? I never heard of those songs with Ray J, Teddy Riley and Major Figgaz for example.
How can we get a hold of those Shady Montage tracks? I only have "Leaving You Again".

Saw the II OG tracklist on myspace... the song with Ray J is on there. I think apart from the skits and the Ray J song I know all the songs from this project, but it should be a banging album. Better than the released version? I don't know; that's hard to top, but this II OG is worth copping.

Some of the recognizable tracks are different versions.. ie "Wake Up" which is the OG version, featuring a different verse from myself and the addition of N.U.N.E.
..and then all of the songs have been remixed and remastered for premium quality sound.
But ultimately this is "Informal Introduction" as it was originally meant to release.. complete with the cinematic interludes!

i got the original cd wouldn't mind knowing more precise details on the remastering for this release 8)
i'm sure its high quality mp3 but i don't see how any compressed mp3 could ever sound much cleaner than a proper audio cd, unless the original release was that bad, but it sounds great to me. i'd be more interested in a physical copy that is not burnt from mp3s i guess.

I encourage you to check out the previous posts regarding "Out of Sight Out of Mind - USA Edition".
There was a discussion about how I was able to acheive HD sound through mp3s, a mastering trick I learned from Quik.

I think u were expecting too much of a dramatic difference and that's why you don't hear the subtleties in the mixes.
with "John Doe" there is a clear difference in the volume and clarity of the vocals.
To remix an entire song dramatically would mean to admit that the original mix was not up to par.. and that's not the case here..
so the differences in mixes may be only slightly noticeable. Some of these mixes literally only had one channel corrected, if that was all that was needed..

UK Tour is being scheduled for the month of Sept 09..
Germany Tour begins in February 09 and resumes in July 09..

There would be no difference in the CD and mp3 audio.. they are virtual the same copy.
The difference is only in the two versions of "II" itself..
