As previously reported hip-hop's #1 hook crooner, Nate Dogg has a new album on the way! His latest track to hit mixtapes is , "I Need A Bitch", where he confesses his admiration for a girl not afraid to "lift her skirt" in public!

Well Launch have just reported some news on the forthcoming album from Nate's current label, Elektra Entertainment. "I Need A Bitch" is produced by Hi-Tek and is just an underground release from Nate Dogg's self-titled third solo release which is set to drop on February 25.

The album's official first single is said to be "Get Up" a collaboration with Eve that was produced by westcoast legend DJ Quik, this too was on mixtapes last month. We have it for you to check here.

In addition to Hi-Tek and DJ Quik, Nate Dogg's new release is due to have production from Timbaland, Damizza, Rockwilder, and Bink!, and guest appearances from Shade Sheist, Memphis Bleek, Freeway, Redman, Fabolous, Lil' Mo, Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, and Ms. Jade.

More Nate Dogg Album News!! - 30 October, 2002 By : Rud
As reported this week the new, self titled, Nate Dogg album is due out on February 25th. Today MTV reported some more news including more tracknames! The follow-up to last year's Music & Me is set to feature the likes of Xzibit, Redman, Fabolous, Memphis Bleek, Freeway, Lil' Mo, Knoc-Turn'Al, Shade Sheist and Ms. Jade. Snoop Dogg also appears, along with Armed Robbery, on a track called I Got Game."

As reported before "Get Up", which features Eve, is the album's first single, which is one of the two DJ Quik produced tracks set to feature on the album. Hi-Tek & Bink! also produced two tracks. Rockwilder handled five tracks, while Timbaland, Damizza and Ricc Rude each did one.

According to Elektra Records here is a tentative tracklist :

"There She Goes"
"Get Up" (Feat. Eve)
"Somebody Like Me" (Feat. Shade Sheist)
"Leave Her Alone" (Feat. Memphis Bleek, Freeway and Chris of the Young Gunz)
"Bad Girls" (Feat. Redman)
"Keep It Real" (Feat. Lil' Mo, Fabolous and Icarus)
"I Got Game" (Feat. Snoop Dogg and Armed Robbery)
"Round and Round"
"The Hard Way" (Feat. Xzibit and Armed Robbery)
"I Need a Bitch" (Feat Armed Robbery)
"Right Back Where You Are"
"Born to Mack" (Feat. Timbaland and Ms. Jade)
"All Night Long"
"No More Lies" (Feat. Knoc-Turn'Al)

Still no sign of Warren G, Dr. Dre etc. Let's hope some more westcoast flavour is added to the album in the coming months!

 - This definitley looks like a 'Music & Me Pt. 2.'  Man...no Dre on Snoop, and none on Nate Dogg?!  Shit, he really must be busy then.

it looks good. i like the production behind it. i like a couple of the east coast guys, but i just don't get the neptunes and that stuff. i heard a while ago that they would be working on it. but it looks like they won't be. i'm excited. the g funk classics was great, music and me was pretty good and this should be too.

i hope there is some hard core westcoast stuff. we'll see

This was reported by Jome over @ wckillaz:

Nate Dogg is still set for a February 25th release for his self-titled album, and here's some more info on his album, with most producers on board. The first single is "Get Up" feat. Eve. This may not be the final tracklisting as they might do some last minute changes.

01. There She Goes feat. DJ Quik & Warren G
02. Get Up feat. Eve
Produced by DJ Quik
03. Somebody Like Me feat. Shade Sheist
Produced by Damizza
04. Leave Her Alone feat. Memphis Bleek, Freeway & Chris of the Young Gunz
Produced by Rockwilder
05. Bad Girls feat. Redman
Produced by Rockwilder
06. Keep It Real feat. Lil' Mo, Fabolous & Icarus
Produced by Rockwilder
07. I Got Game feat. Snoop Dogg & Armed Robbery

09. The Hard Way feat. Xzibit & Armed Robbery
10. I Need a Bitch feat. Armed Robbery

13. All Night Long
14. Nate Dogg

15. No More Lies feat. Knoc-Turn'Al

Looks dope. There're some good features on there, but I'm a little disapointed that there isn't a 213 song. Ahh well, guess we'll just have to wait for 213s album  ;)

New Nate Dogg Audio! - 16 January, 2003 By : Rud
Firstly huge thanks to Westcoast Aftershock for putting up 2 new Nate Dogg tracks which should appear on his forthcoming self-titled album due out February 25th!

As we reported earlier in the month there was a rumoured "Nate Dogg" tracklist going around which we posted. There is however a slightly different one up on CDUniverse, which includes a cover image (shown left) which would suggest it could be close to the retail tracklist - thanks to Engelwood, of DJ-Quik.net, for the news. The tracklist is shown below with one of the new audio snippets - "There She Goes," produced by DJ Quik and featuring himself & Warren G, available for download in MP3!

1) I Need A Bitch (Feat. Rob Stricklong)
2) Bad Girls (Feat. Redman)
3) Get Up (Feat. Eve)
4) Keep It Real (Feat. Fabolous, Lil' Mo & Icarus)
5) Leave Her Alone (Feat. Memphis Bleek, Freeway & Young Chris)
6) Hide It (Feat. Rob Stricklong)
7) Round And Round
8) Gott Damn Shame
9) There She Goes (Feat. DJ Quik & Warren G) [Download]
10) Somebody Like Me
11) Interlude
12) I Got Game (Feat. Snoop Dogg & Rob Stricklong)
13) All Night Long
14) Next Boyfriend (Feat. Knoc-Turn'al)
15) 3 The Hard Way (Feat. Xzibit & Rob Stricklong)
16) Interlude
17) Right Back Where You Are

oh and he might want to change his stage name.  Nate Dogg really don't fit romance.  he should use his real name.  Nathaniel Hale.  Damn that would be sweet.

Nate sure could do songs like that, just look at "Back Door". Sure, that song's got more str8 forward sexual content than love songs usually, but it's got that vibe in it...

But I don't think Nate will do it. He kept it gangsta, he's keepin' it gangsta, and he's gon' keep it gangsta. That's just the way it is, and that's the way I want it to be.

New "Nate Dogg" Release Date - 24 February, 2003 By : Rud
As we reported earlier this month Nate Dogg's self-titled new album has been pushed back. The new release was set to feature Redman, Eve, Fabolous, Freeway, DJ Quik, Warren G, Snoop Dogg, Xzibit & more. The original date for the CD to come out was tomorrow (February 25th) however now, thanks to FatLikeMadrox, we have been informed that Best Buy have the disc slated for a April 8th release. This would give Elektra & Nate chance to make a video for the single, whether or not that is still "Get Up" featuring Eve & produced by DJ Quik is unknown at this time however it is likely. As soon as we hear more we'll let you know. Dont forget to check out Nate in the trailer for Chris Rock's latest film "Head Of State" below.

Nate Revamps New LP & Mack's On Set! - 8 April, 2003 By : Rud

His hugely anticipated self titled third album, which was due out originally in February of this year, was postponed for reasons unexplained, until now! On Thursday in L.A. Nate is finishing up the last two tracks for the new release : "I'll be finished with it by the end of next week, I went and revamped a few things. I got Dre [producing] a couple of them and 50 Cent on one. I got the opportunity to put them on, so I postponed it. You got to have them kind of cats on there. Hopefully [the song with 50] will be a dance record or something real aggressive. Dre is doing the beat right now, so once that’s done we'll be on it."

In addition to Dre and 50, Nate has reportadly done a track with Trick Daddy that is set to be a new addition to the "Nate Dogg" LP : "It's about my favorite homegirl, Mary, It's pretty cool. I always sneak a marijuana song on my album. It was cool. [Trick] busts real smooth on that track."

As if that wasn't enough Nate Dogg revealed he and Dr. Dre also did some rough recordings for the Doc's "Detox" LP, and he's hoping for the long awaited and much anticipated 213 album to be out by Christmas! That LP will finally see the album union of himself, Snoop Dogg and Warren G. The trio are currently fielding offers from record companies to release the long-talked-about project.
