Interesting. I hope this is all Nelly and not a ghostwriter. Seems kind of strange for him to change it up all of a sudden but maybe he just wanted to try something different.

He probably always had it, but the companies signed him to do the sing song style because it probably appeals a lot more to the mainstream. But he was like 20, 21 when he came out...so it wouldn't be too wild for him to get better like that.

Yeah you are right.  If he packs maybe just half of his album with spit like this, would be nice to listen to...
