Word Dan....I'm hyped as well.
Jay's been quite for a couple of months now, it's bout time for some new Jigga.
I've yet to miss a release date (drop-day) on Jay-Z ever....he's one of only a couple of artist's I can say that about.....other's being:

Ice Cube (Except for grt hitz & that feat: disc)
Snoop Dogg
Scarface
2pac (Except for Strictly.....I wasn't feeling the east vibe at the time...lol and still ain't his worst to date ImO.)

Just a couple..

Fuck Jay-Z... He makes clever lines about his money... But he isn't going to change anyone's life, or liberate one's mind from the false illusion of money and power.

I probably won't cop this, I copped "The Blueprint" but I havn't listened to it in AGES now, and I suspect this album will probably be on the same level so i'm not gonna commit myself just yet. This is gonna be one of those albums i'll be d/l first and foremost before I make a decision.

Ever since Vol. 3, it seems I can't feel Jigga no more. And that's not good, 'cause he used to be one of my favorites. He better come tight as hell, 'cause his star is starting to fade. And he needs to top Ether for street rep, 'cause the streets waznt more from him.

I had "The Blueprint" on a relisten the last week, and shit's still good.
I can't see that this new one will be nuthin but heat, if he brings Kanye West, Just Blaze, Neptunes, & hopefully Rockwilder & Timbaland.

yeah homie i agree wit u 100%,,,,,no one in the industry can make a tight cd like jigga can, its solid from beginning 2 end,,,,,,hopefully there wont be alot of peeps on this like the blueprint and i also want another joint that is as soulful as This Cant Be Life

Yeah man - I want jay to ride some of those oldies samples like on Blueprint. Hopefully Gift & Curse will follow that vibe - can't wait.

How do you figure that?

How about "Lookin' At Me" & "Superthug"?  (Mostly the latter of the two)

And "Shake Ya Ass" came out before that too.

yeah but lookin at me and superthug wasnt as big as I JUST WANNA LUV YA and shake ya ass came out around the same time, if it wasnt for the catchy hook in shake ya ass, it would just be another shitty mystikal song

first of all, How many rappers do you see actually changing other people's life with their music?...as for Liberation of one's mind, Do you think that talking about a particular Topic metter will do that?...again, a good rapper can tell you about how he was taking a shit in the morning and it will still be the fuckin bomb.

p.s: A "Liberated Mind" is not bound to topic metter choices

Ya well Jay Z sounds good when he collaborates with GOOD people... (Change the Game Remix, Renagades) so I hope DPG and Shady will be there with Beenie and Bleek, not Freeway and with some good production, and good flows and lyrics I dont know how this album could disapoint me
