RIP Big L.......A true legend.
-
I got "Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous", "The Big Picture" and the DITC record, I also heard that there was a new bootleg going around, I havn't personally heard anything from it yet though.
-
One of the dopest East Coast emcees ever. The Big Picture is classic and his 98' Freestyle was amazing. "Ask Beavis, I Get Nothing Butt-Head", That'll never get old.
-
i was grinning at that earlier... i like MCs who use funny punchlines ;D
-
He also had some decent Story Telling skills; "The Heist Revised"

Or the original "The Heist"....

Lifestyles ov da poor an dangerous is a classic
-
i got lifestylez ov da poor & dangerous, the big picture, d.i.t.c., harlems finest freestyles vol. 1 & 2, and practically every cd hes ever been featured on.
i've been a huge fan ever since i heard him on the "yes you may" remix with lord finesse.
l killed jay on that back 2 back(7 minute freestyle) joint and jay was so desperate he had to jack one of l's lines(keep in mind this was in his reasonable doubt days) lol.
best all around mc i've ever heard.
-
rip to big L....dope ass mc with one of the hardest flows ever
-
Big L is just RAW, but "The Heist" and "The Heist(revisited)" was WACK, but that Big Picture cd was good over all but it had like five tracks that were horribe, maybe cuz of the beats, i dontknow.. but i still need to get Lifestylez Ov Da Rich n' Poor.
