I am a big fan of both of them. Luda is a slight bit more lyrical then TI but don't get it twisted, BOTH kill their guest appearances. Album wise it is a toss up. Being I am a bigger Luda fan I would lean more towards his stuff but I hope whatever BS between them they would put aside and do a track together.

Only Luda could hold his own against the best MCs from the east. TI would get slaughtered on tracks where 'swag' wasnt involved. Back for the first time is probably as dope as trap musik. But Luda is a lot more consistent verse wise and can switch his flow a lot.

I wont argue bout TI VS TIP (although i don't see the problem with it minus like 2-3 songs) cause most seem to dislike it. Urban Legend had some of TI's best lyrical songs (Motivation/Asap/Tha King) that album was dope..King was fuckin amazing, some argue it to be classic (and not me, i think its dope though, but 2-3 songs keep it from bein classic).
Trap Muzik is a damn classic.
Luda's albums are avg as fuck besides the debut but STILL
Trap Muzik > Back For the First Time
and Luda had the advantage with that diss, he got to know T.I. jabbed him first and then wrote his rap - T.I. would of killed him two if the roles were reversed.

Release Therapy went platinum, in fact ALL of his albums have gone at least platinum and he won a Grammy for best album. His first 3 albums he sold nothing under 2 million units on any of them.

I def don't think selling records means your better and that isnt why im saying TI is better - I think hes simply the better rapper and is more consistent with his albums. I am down to post TI lyrics if we talkin dope lyrics, fa sho.

For those that don't think TI has dope guest appearances, you should check out Grand Finale from Lil Jon's album, the last DJ Drama album (all of the tracks he was on), Big Dog Status remix. Just to name a few

I'm a huge TI fan, but no way TI VS TIP is classic. King was one heck of an album but deeming it 'classic' would be using the word a bit light. Trap Muzik is a classic in every sense of the word and I don't see how it falls flat agianst any of the other down south classics.

nah homie. don't confuse me wit ya kind. say what you want. but these days t.i. is one of very few artists that drops a release that's better than the last. i might be bias and i could give a fuck but t.i. is the best solo artist out the south since scarface. and yeah i know that a few niggas are gonna bring up other niggas names. but it's my opinion and i stand by it to the fullest. weezy is garbage,cham(no need to even mention him),luda(he can't fuck wit t.i. in no way !),and the rest(in my opinion)have not dropped material lately that even rivals their earlier work(listen to 'em.). so there you have it.

ludacris is more entertaining because of his distinctive voice, flows, intonation and wordplay but at the same time ti has a superior catalogue of music overall. its actually dissapointing that ludacris hasn't dropped a solid lp recently because he should be capable of doing so.
so in this whole luda vs ti thread theres obviously a lot of debate because everyone is using different criteria for their judgements. my own criteria would be a gut reaction to who is the most entertaining - but it entirely depends on what you listen to the music for and what criteria you judge a rapper by. based on that i'd say luda but if someone asked me who was better out of biggie and pac i'd say biggie. what can i say, i like to be entertained first and foremost.
