The release of Daz Dillinger and Kurupt aka Tha Dogg Pound's new album "100 Wayz" is approaching, and after heating things up with their street single "Cheat", the DPG duo has just sent dubcnn a new exclusive track off the album to throw out there.
The song is produced by Daz himself and features a Dr. Dre sample, the "Get my drink on and my smoke on" part off "The Next Episode". Comedian Mike Epps also has makes a quick appearance at the end of the record to show his support. Dubcnn has the exclusive right here, check out "Get My Drink On":

This is a club single off "100 Wayz". For all you DJ's looking for the clean and instrumental versions of the track, they should be available for purchase on iTunes by Monday. Also make sure to be on the lookout for the official first single off the "100 Wayz" featuring Cassidy, on dubcnn soon.
Daz and Kurupt are also a part of the West Fest Tour which starts today in Ventura, CA and ending on the 21st in Spokane, WA. Hit up ticketmaster to purchase tickets, and the West Fest page for all the latest info.

Cool song. I guess the Dogg Pound still has life. I'm expecting good things from this new album. The only thing I didn't like was Daz on the chorus. He should have just left it to the Dre sample. Also, at the end of the chorus, I would have used the rest of Dre's line.

True. In the Death Row days there were Dre, Quick, Suge or others in the studio making sure those beats weren't shit.
Dogg Pound needs an executive to look over those songs.

I agree as well. Dogg Chit, however, wasn't Kurupt's best lyrically...at least on "Cheat" and "Get My Drink On" he's finally spittin' some real shit. Daz pretty much outshined Kurupt on Dogg Chit, with the exception of a few tracks. I personally disliked CIA because Snoop was too much involved and tried to change everything everyone did, including Soopafly. that's why I was so surprised that Soopa actually produced on CIA. it was funny, cuz the majority of the album sounded west coast, but all of a sudden, you have Paul Wall?! c'mon! that had to be Snoop's idea. ::)
The southern-style shit, well, we haven't heard the rest of the album yet, so maybe they're leaking these southern-style songs to get southern-style fans to buy this record...at least I hope so. ;D
I'm really impressed with Kurupt so far on every new release he's been involved in this year. It's imperative for Kurupt to outshine Daz from this point forward. Since So So Gangsta, I really haven't been feelin' Daz's shit, but it sounded like he was bringing some nice west coast shit on his "Only On The Left Side" leaks. I mean, look at the title...it better be west coast music. I've never been too impressed with Daz lyrically...even going back to the Death Row days. he was more known for his beats, but now I have nothing to say about him. I'm all about Kurupt now. Daz, get back to making some classic music!

I AGREE 100%!!! Daz is a sellout now. like I said in a previous post, Kurupt is being held back. I have honestly gotten more sick of Daz with time.
Kurupt seems to be heading in the right direction, unlike Daz. Kurupt is doing work with two classic producers in DJ Quik and Pete Rock. wtf is Daz doing besides releasing some BS? I am a Daz fan, but I have honestly gotten sick of all this bullshit. "Ch-Ching" is actually better than "Get My Drink On." "Cheat" was actually decent. I just don't want this whole album being a southern-style release.

I disagree that Daz wasnt tight back in the Dogg Food days he spit some decent rhymes and great flow that was a great compliment to Kurupts battle raps
So So Gangsta was dope but his other recent releases in the last 6 years have been too inconsistent

I don't really want him to do cliched West Coast old style stuff, but if he just came with some nice hard shit like Ambitionz Az A Ridah or Don't Stop, that'd be ill... and got his more understated interesting flow back rather than the hyped up annoying flow

i like this song...first dogg pound song i can see myself regularly bump in a while. people will never get out of that enclosed mindstate that everything has to have a talkbox with a battlecat beat and sound like it was made in 96 to be "westcoast"

I listened to the track again last night and it's not TOO bad it's better than "Cheat", which was a let down in my opinion.
I'm waiting to hear it untagged and CDQ, because the untagged floating around right now is terrible in the whip.
