Yeah, I have liked them ever since i heard "Awnaw", they have sum heaters on that album like "Awnaw", "Dime, Quarter, Nickel, Penny" and "Po' Folks", but their sound can get kind of irritating..

I don't listen to them personally, I listened to "Awnaw" a few times and thought it was a pretty nice track, different like.
I read an interview with one of the guys from the group and he was saying how Nappy Roots were against all the 'bling bling' and he said when people listen to their album they'll realise that everything you want you've got already. He went on to say that bling bling rappers are distancing themselves from their audience and in some cases their making their fans bust their necks to try and get these things that in reality are non-existant and that most of these rappers don't really have these those anyway.

I heard Po' Folks... it's good... I am actually thinking about getting their album... I got to hear a couple more tracks though.

SO far everything I've heard from them is heat. I haven't really took the time to check out other stuff from them.

Their first two singles were tight especially "Po' Folks". Never came around to purchasing the album but I am most likely goin' to buy it if I ever see it in the "used" section because I have never bought a new album since Stillmatic.
