me and a buddy of mine were having a convo about how Tyrese attempted to rap, but then Nate came across my mind.
imagine if Nate rapped on one song. I'd get a kick outta that..
anyway, can I get a free post? hahaha
-
I'm sure he tried and there's probably something out there I can't think of right now. He probably always sticked to singing because he can't rap.
:monkey_dance2:

There are some songs in which he kinda rapped his verses. Just check out "The Hard Way" from his latest LP.

I ain't talking bout KINDA rapping. I'm talking bout straight rapping, bustin' a flow..
I know what you're saying, but he still sings when he's doing the usual stuff.

yea, he has a tendency to somewhat rap at times.
-
I vaguely remember reading a Warren G or Snoop interview, where they said that sometimes Nate would try to rap, but whenever he did Warren/Snoop basically told him to stick to singing.
-
He kinda rapped on Doggz Day Afternoon (I never seen a joint that I couldn't light etc.) and that 213 Tha Gangsta Clicc.
I'd rather hear Nate rap than most of the sub par rappers out today, but when you have Snoop and Kurupt in your camp, you may as well stick to the singing.

oh shit, I think I remember that! lol
I'd like to hear him try to rap though. haha

props for the feedback guys.
I also remember that on Doggz Day Afternoon, as well as the 213 song. good examples. 8)
yea, I wish I could say the same for Snoop nowadays, LOL.
it did work out for Nate though. he is the hook master of the world..
whenever I'm in a car, I bump Nate tracks so that everyone knows I'm reppin' DPG.
if they don't know who DPG is, they will find out.. 8)
Soopafly DPGC, I see you..haha

kinda off topic but daz said he has a rap-verse by suge knight lol.

I think I seen it in an interview once. he was saying he's keeping it in the vaults.

Nate was rappin' on "The Game Don't Wait (Remix)"
"Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
I got no time for no damn lunch break
I got to go out and buy some brand new clothes
And change my socks fore they reveal my toes
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
The hookers flock because the dick is straight
Let me teach you what I already know
The shit don't stop, so it's time I go"

Nate should rap and sing on his songs like Z-Ro does.
that would be sick as hell..
-
kinda off topic but daz said he has a rap-verse by suge knight lol.
That exist. I heard Suge has like a few songs, and he actually performed one at a concert. Lol! Also, I wish Nate would rap. He sounded fucking sick on Doggz Day Afternoon.

E-40 - Sinister Mob ft. Nate Dogg
Prince Ital Joe - No More Games ft. Nate Dogg & Snoop Dogg
213 - 213 Tha Gangsta Clicc

here we go..
ThaFormula.com - Did Tupac really have hate for Biggie man?
Daz Dillinger - Shit, afterwards nah I mean. I remember when I was cool with Biggie and all. Back then Biggie came down and you know we used to kick it. I would do beats for Biggie. I got songs with Biggie. So you know when he used to come to the 92.3 The Beat (local Los Angeles radio station), uh when they would have their little location spots and shit, I would hear on the radio that he's right there, so I would go over there, we would talk. I'm like man what's up with That? He would just tell me "man that's bullshit." When Tupac got killed about a week later I was in the studio with Biggie after Pac got killed. I was with him and Mase when they was doing that song with Too $hort from "Life After Death."
ThaFormula.com - "The World is Filled?"
Daz Dillinger - Yeah, so me and Mase was cool too. I was sellin' weed back then so when I sell the weed to Mase, Biggie walks in the door. I give him a free ounce and all that shit.
ThaFormula.com - So you actually got tracks with Biggie?
Daz Dillinger - Yeah and I'm sellin them. I need a million dollars a track.
ThaFormula.com - You're a smart man Daz, you seem to know what you're doing...
Daz Dillinger - I'm trying to keep it going man. But you know money don't last forever man. You spend one dollar you ain't a millionaire no more.

could you/anyone up that track?
-
He did a song with E-40 where he raps and sings @ the same time so it's kinda of like a harmonizing BONE type flow but it comes out tight!

Rather than just rapping, i prefer how he alternative his Voice between normal, high and low!
That aspec could just be his edge to make him a cut above the rest, rather than just switching to 'busting a flow' as you have mentioned, you know?
Just me..
