It's nice if it is, but I have heard rumors of a Dr. Dre bootleg with Chronic 2 era tracks.

I took the photo. I'll admit, the vinyl isn't mine. My older brother stopped by this weekend. He's always going out and collecting rare ass shit. To him that stuff is like his personal treasures. For some reason he's extremely against sharing the shit. I had to sneak that photo. He has no idea about my YouTube channel. I can only look at his shit when he's around. He goes back and forth between here and Chino. He stopped by this weekend and surprised me with this shit. He let me listen to the record at his house, and I gotta say, IT"S DOPE AS FUCK! When he left the room I snapped a picture with my phone.

The original "Blunt Tyme" is on there, the original "OG To BG", there's a remake of "Hoe Hopper" called "Hoe Hoppin". The original "California Love". There's a track called "Deadly Whispers" (I think that's what it's called.) that uses the beat at the end of the "California Love" video. It's also got "Keep Their Head's Ringin". There's only 8 total tracks, 12 with inserts.

He's told me that he's also getting a promo ep of "Helter Skelter" pressed in 1994, which features the original "Can't See Me", "Give Me Fifty Feet", "Natural Born Killaz", "Game OVer", and "Grand Finalle II".I don't know of anymore. I guess those are the only songs' they finished?

Some of the shit that I've heard is beyond belief. There is so much unreleased shit, especially during the 1992-1994 era. We have to remember that for a while there, Dre was on house arrest. All he did was work in the studio and make records.

Most people have trouble believing that this shit is true, but let me break it down.

When a record company is going to release and album they let the artist work in the studio. The artist records the tracks to DAT's. They often times dub their shit to tapes so that they can go home and listen to shit to see what needs to be altered or improved. Or just to let other people listen. When they are ready to move on with the album, the company gets involved and start handling all the legal work (sample clearance, royalty percentage, copyright, etc.). Right away the company presses the album to vinyl, because believe it or not the record executives actually listen to everything they release. (It's cheaper to press to a vinyl than a CD back then) They also press vinyls to prepare for promotional use. Then, when all the legal shit is square, and everything is straigt they move forward with pressing CDs. CD pressing is an enormous commitment by the record company and involves massive production. So they want to make sure that everything is legit and straight before they waste there money pressing millions of CDs (you must remember, CD prodution was more expensive back then). But if the shit isn't right or if the artist's contract expires or if the artist leaves the record company (like Dre did) the album isn't released. Plus I've heard Dre didn't really like the album anyway. Because he was trying to steer away from gangsta rap after his apocalyptic "Helter Skelter". The Chronic 2 does still have that gangsta tone.

Most of the unreleased albums from Death Row are stored on high quality DATs, but many did make it to vinyl and tape, some even to CD. THERE IS SO FUCKING MUCH. Alot of people think they know alot about Death Row, but even they would shit if they knew how much more there is. It's like there's 10 times as much unreleased as there is actually released. It must be understood that the Death Row inmates were young, talented, and eager. Everyone was puttin' shit down and makin' records, almost too fast for the company to arrange releases. Every artist that got signed tried to sign their own people, so on and so on. Very few people know the scale of this shit.

I think the Death Row auction has something to do with my brother getting that vinyl. All of Suge's shit on Death Row is being inspected and gone through. I think that vinyl leaked out somehow. The auction is in 2 days. Hopefully the right people get that shit and are wise enough to release all that shit. If they do, we'd be having like 25 more classic albums come out.

Quote
everything will be uncovered eventually. Top Dogg, The Realest, J-Flexx, etc. have been brought to us by For The People Entertainment. The guy who started that company has connections within Death Row. He pays people who have access to the recordings to leak them to him. Suge does not approve of For The People Ent. Other shit like MC Hammer and 2nd II None have been leaked by individuals who are either Djs or insiders at Death Row. There's going to be alot of shit leaked after this Death Row auction.

But you notice that all the shit that has leaked in good quality have always been the lesser albums. The albums that aren't really that good. All the really good shit, Suge kept locked up completely. Everything that has leaked so far, has been owned by Suge, but also by the artists who recorded it and their associates as well. So most likely they leaked it. But I know for sure that all of it is leaked by people on the inside. They sell it privately and it eventually leaks to the net. Very few people ever take credit for leaking it because they fear Suge.

The following is a real life example.

A dude, EMz, who worked for Interscope's Rap/Urban Music Department gave his boy a copy of Snoop Doggy Dogg F/ Tray Dee "21 Jumpstreet", the friday before Murder Was The Case soundtrack dropped. Since SWV f/ Wu Tang Clan "Anything", off the Above The Rim soundtrack, earlier that year leaked to radio they were ready to release it as a single, it already was one of the most played songs at the time. By the time They dropped it as a single, due to how much it ws played on radio, everyone had already taped it directly off the radio, and the single didn't sell well. So from that point on Suge was very protective of shit leaking.
Suge gave the warning. But EMz took it upon himself to give fans a sneak preview of what was to come on the Murder Was The Case soundtrack, so he gave his boy at 92.3 who had a radio show at Midnight on Friday nights to play the record once, when the offices were closed and Suge wouldn't be listening. While The DJ who had the tape was editing out the curses DJ Theo, who had a show from 2-6 was jealous the other dude had the exclusive Snoop, so while dude was editing the tape Theo snatched it up on the sneak tip and and announced he'd be playing it after the commercial, this was while the work day was still going on, so the radio station was being played at Death Row Offices. The dude EMz, called pleading Theo not to play the song, but Theo str8 didn't give a fuck and hung up on EMz, then when he got back from commercail, Theo playeds parts of the Phone call with him and EMz and then played "21 Jumpstreet".
As expected, Suge and his gang, marched into Interscope offices that next week went to EMz office, screaming at him, giving him the usual altimatum, either Resign, or take a beating. However knowing Suge, he could have quit and still got that ass whipped. Luckily, his Supporior Fade Dunaway (who once took a severe beating by suge himself) saved EMz' ass by walking in and told EMz things weren't working out, he had to go.

So basically it's people on the inside man. Alot of people leak shit because it makes them seem significant in the rap game (even though everyone loses the source anyway). Plus the shit is tight. People figure they can make money off of it.

BIG BIG PROPS TO HIM FOR ALL THE INFOS

It's not called "Smokin' Weed For Hours", and that "Chronic 2" is a fake. This is older than 2001. It's just a demo.
Anyway, here is the CDQ son.

I've got Dre's third Death Row album. It's so secret nobody knows it was ever made, not even Dre. I'd let you guys hear it but you're not really worth it as it depreciates in value with more people having heard it. I'm currently locked in talks with a Japanese businessman about selling it but he's only offering about $6,000,000, he must be crazy if he thinks that's enough.

Here's a picture of the t-shirt Dre gave me when we were working on Chronic 2, I helped him produce some songs but refused to be paid so he gave me this t-shirt. There's only two in existence, Dre has the second one. He wore it underneath his shirt at his wedding. We should be together.

Not really the truth. Half his information such as the guy who got beat down by Suge at Interscope is in the Ronin Ro book, and a bootleg with those rares doesn't exist, if it did he would have posted something rare to get the groupies on his nuts. The Chronic 2 exist beats wise and a few tracks, but it was never completed. Dre has about twenty beats for it.

You prove nothing, you make simple assumptions because that's all you can do. If you are a big Dre head, tell me around how many beats, tracks, and etc. were actually done for The Chronic. Also, tell me who is one of the people outside of Death Row who has California Love - The full Dre version.

I guess those are the only songs' they finished?

dont know how credible that is, but... I WANT THOSE  8)
:o me too.

This is a fake promo thing for Chronic 2. Nothing exclusive on there at all. And the My Life track has to be Aftermath era. D.O.C. is on there and he didn't start fucking with Dre again until after Dre left Death Row and formed Aftermath.

It's Death Row. It's around 93-94ish. He didn't fuck with him till he won those gang of lawsuits in 97-98 then Dre invited him and Six Two upto Aftermath to work on his new album. The D.O.C. left Death Row in 1995 and moved to Georgia where I believe he linked up again with Erotic D. ;)

It's not called "Smokin' Weed For Hours", and that "Chronic 2" is a fake. This is older than 2001. It's just a demo.
Anyway, here is the CDQ son.
Dr Dre - My Life (http://www.zshare.net/audio/14628246d49f5e80/)
And because I'm a nice guy, here is the instrumental version.
Dr Dre - My Life (Instrumental) (http://www.zshare.net/audio/1462833813039a1b/)

It's not necessarily "fake". It's pressed by the company. It's not a demo it's a promo.

rare death row shit brings haters as always  ::)

Yeah, it brings haters because they're fuckin' jealous. They know that in their hopeless insignificant lives they will never come across this shit. Especially to the ones who think they know it all. To them it's almost like an insult, because it challenges their petty knowledge, which is mostly based on assumption and common knowledge anyway. Of course these songs fuckin' exist. WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK DRE DID FOR 2 FUCKIN YEARS ('94-'95)!!!? SIT ON HIS ASS?

He did the Helter Skelter and Chronic 2.

2) Those who will believe anything.

MOST OF THESE HATERS THAT CLAIM THAT ALL THESE SONGS DON'T EXIST ARE USUALLY PEOPLE THAT AINT FROM UNITED STATES AND ARE VERY JEALOUS CAUSE THEIR COUNTRY IS BASICALLY VERY BORING AND AIN'T SHYT TO DO THERE...BASICALLY WHAT I MEAN IS THAT THEY WISH THEY WERE HERE INSTEAD OF OVA THERE...ALL THE SONGS EXIST BELIEVE IT AND THEY WILL BE LEAKED SLOWLY ......LIKE THE MAKAVELI BOOTLEGS WERE...PEOPLE SAID THE SAME SHYT BACK THEN ABOUT 2PAC AND THESE BOOTLEGS UNTIL THEY STARTED SELLING BACK IN THE BEGGINING OF 1997 FOR 600 DOLLARS TRUST THAT...SO HISTORY WILL REPEAT ITSELF AGAIN WITH DEATH ROW BUT A LIL DIFFERENT THIS TIME..

rare death row shit brings haters as always  ::)

Man Kilo2, you really think you fuckin' know it all. Yeah, no shit it's from the book. I never said it wasn't. If your referring to the converstion with The Jsta on the Wu-Tang forum, well he's fuckin' visually blind. I can't tell him about some shit he'll never get a chance to appreciate. That's fucked up, it would spark an interest that couldn't be satisfied. Have some consideration..

Anyways it does exist. Did you not read the details concerning this shit. I can't transfer the shit for four reasons.
1. It's not my vinyl
2. My brother doesn't live with me
3. Even if I could get it Jeremy (my brother) would practically disown me. Going behind his back and leaking that shit would not only be a fucked up act of betrayal, it would also be a stab in the heart of one of his few true interests. That shit is his fuckin treasure man. He lives for music. I respect him alot. He's doin his thing with radio and I respect that alot. He did something with his fuckin life (unlike everyone on here, and yeah including me, but he don't have time for this petty shit, so I release the information for him rather he knows or not). He didn't exactly have it made growing up, yet he still is doing something real. I'll be damned if I fuck him over for yall.
4. Even if I did get it I don't have a record player and I don't know how to transfer it anyway.

I never said it was completed. ...T  H  I  S     I  S    A    F  U  C  K  I  N  G     P  R  O  M  O....  Do you not  get that. Since when has it been god's law for a promo to be the finished release.

So MR. KILO2, I can see already that you base your image off the facade of a G. Already a poor example of what's real.

Anyways I'm sorry if I challenge your (Ronnin Ro) based knowledge. Just because Ronnin Ro says it ain't so don't make it so.  ;)
Ronnin Ro was very limited in his focus of information. He wasn't really out to reveal all there is to know about Death Row. In fact, he simply wanted to tell good story about a place that isn't well spoken (or written) about. There is alot of speculation as to how acurate Ronnin Ro's info was anyway.

Also, if you have the original press of "All Eyez On Me" it advertises for Dre's album to come out later the same year.

It's nicknamed "Smokin' Weed For Hours." I labeled it that strictly for Youtube purposes. And if you actually look, it says "My Life" OG also. I did that because I also uploaded the remix. Everybody freeloads and it makes it easier for me if I label the songs with different names so that the songs don't get confused when requested.

The Chronic 2 advertisement is infamous, because that's all it is. An advertisement. Everyone knew Dr. Dre was at wits-end with Suge, but he might have dropped one more album before he bounced. He did a few beats and even a few tracks, most of which ended up being given away IE: California Love which now belongs in the hands of DJ Jam who is Snoop Doggy Dogg's DJ. Let me make this clear for everyone, these apparent songs Anonymous One says are from the Chronic 2: Papa's Got A Brand New Funk Era were done either in A.) 93-94 (I know my Death Row history, I've spent the last two years talking to employees and artist) or B.) They were for a 2Pac album in the case of Blunt Tyme. 2Pac grabbed a total of three Dr. Dre tracks A.) California Love, B.) Can't C Me, and C.) Blunt Tyme featuring The Lady Of Rage. Suge had 2Pac do a butter-nut reduction and put back one Dre track because his album would be too crowded with them. That track would be....duh duh duh....Blunt Tyme.

Also, for Mr. Dre Day here on The Chronic Dr. Dre did an assload of beats and tracks around fifty or sixty. If he didn't like them, he'd just erase the tape. I could say Helter Skelter had around the same number of completed tracks as the Chronic 2, but people would call me a liar. Dre had one hell a work ethic, same for Jewell, 2Pac, Daz, and Danny Boy. Out of all the people who were on Death Row, those had to be the ones with the best work ethic. Anyhow, there was never a finished product or even half way finished product for The Chronic 2!!!!! It's easy as all hell to work Photoshop little boy. You pull all your facts off assumptions and Ronin Ro books. Most of the stuff I say was never covered in a Ronin Ro book. Why is that you ask? I have the tracks, I have heard the tracks, I have heard interviews, I talked with the artist about said subject. That's really all there is to it.

My Life has been leaked for years now, don't front like you have something special. Most of the shit you post on Youtube comes from MY PEOPLE. People like me who don't take bullshitters like you too kindly. I'm finding it kind of funny how everyones sucking you easy to get some tracks which you don't even have, because these apparent projects don't even exist. In certain rare cases, you can prove that certain artist are liars, but I trust them over some idiot on Youtube who thinks he has the goods.

Thanks for being real Dobbies, that's the exact fucking vinyl I was referring to. DB Soul is relaunching in a few days, and honestly I don't got time for your crap people. Be sure if you have the old version of it, go to it quick and rip Inseparable off the player. That's a 1996 Danny Boy track off one of his ACTUAL albums. The only source for real rare shit is the banner you see below. Also, below you will find a snippet of a track you may have heard before. I have acquired the full of. I was actually going to share it, but I am letting you find it. I hope you can ask your Anonymous one where to find the full one, because he has all these amazing rares and my knowledge of what was recorded when is so wrong. About four or five people on this forum have the full track besides myself, because I gave it to them. Anyhow, enjoy.

Did I talk to you on Youtube or did someone from Youtube tell you that? "Do You Remember" was Nine-Ace. By the way, the shit your dropping is definitely not hard to find.

You mean World Famous VIP. Well then correct me man. On my Youtube channel, I'm just forwarding info that I  have gathered from various places. If some of it is wrong, no one is telling me otherwise so.... how am I to correct it? Yes and I definitely agree. Alot of that shit is not rare at all. I understand that. But everyday newcomers have their interest peaked with "Unreleased Death Row". I post it for them. Now for the serious collectors. I'll be damned if I upload the serious rare shit, so I'ma make excuses and justifications as to why I can't and won't upload it to get them off my back. Especially on Youtube, people can just stream rip that shit. I'm not tryna' be a dick or make enemies.

off topic: Kilo Brown, did you and Nino get married?

Nah, it's just I get called that on MF. Plus, some people believe I am Nino's alias.

hmmmm, i always wondered how a 16 year old kid knew so much about music from over a decade ago...

They all do. Lol. I guess that's why so many people feel the need to bring my legitimacy into question. All the stuff I have learned is by listening to the songs, asking the artist, asking the people who were around it, or just asking my fellow collectors such as Nino, Jory, Sues, WCAffiliatez, Quiggle, Dante, etc. I just absorb what they and the people who created the music tell me. In other words, I am like a walking-living-breathing 16 year old Death Row dictionary. I'm like Ronin Ro's books, but with actual facts and very few biases.

wasn't the "Over The Counter" cd proven to be a fake? Figure since this site is pretty close with Snoop they could quickly find out from the source whether its true or not.

When and where was it proven. I'd like to read it or listen to it.

The most official title is that which is on the vinyl. That's what it was advertised as in "All Eyez On Me" and that's what they followed through with.

A tracklisting will cause another debate, fuck that.

Yeah, I get that, but the problem is no one will respect anybody for that kind of shit. Sure maybe on this site, but down the line the source gets lost and everyone else takes credit. Besides I don't know how much my brother spent or how hard he worked to get that vinyl. That would be some shit to simply post it so a bunch of freeloaders can search google and find it easily at the click of a few keys. Besides it's not my position to leak that shit. It's his. It's his shit. I don't know what he's going to do with the shit he has. Eventually he'll probably hook it up so he can sell it.

I am the reason you guys have that Platinum Pearl comp, Death Row Story by Crooked I, and a few other tracks. I've done my sharing. Lol.
All their shit came from:

1.) Enigma - Tha Realest's webmaster
2.) Neff-u - Petey's Producer
3.) Nassau - Bodog Entertainment Webguy/The OFTB hook up
4.) Riskie
5.) Cedric - The guy who was Suge's personal assistant and who also raped Hyland.

Simple.

I'm not dissing anyone, but it seems retarded to not share your shit.  If the sole thing holding you from sharing is some fame, that is wack.  You're not going to become a celebrity.  And if your bro got his hands on a pressed vinyl, then someone else will too.  Especially considering that the whole Death Row catalog is being auctioned off.

Tell your brother to do summin with it man, if he really loves and respects the music he should share it with other enthusiasts who respect him for finding it. What's the point in keeping something for yourself that you didn't make, share and share alike I say...
did you not understand that his brother doesn't wanna share the music with anyone or what...the kid will not betray the brother's wishes for fools in here and that includes you and me or anyone...

hey, i dont understand you!! man, you share some ftpe shit with others and now you just talk shit..... what's wrong with you??? you know he is a fucking kid and he dont know about sharing some dope westcoast music. dont be greedy and just share it with the community!

I cannot understand why people are so greedy with unreleased tracks. Homie, you are not the one who produced it! you can only get some fucking fame and everbody remembers your name.. WOW!!! That's like some "Homie, you know what.. I know the guy who got the Chronic 2" "Man, he is an original Gangsta for owning some serious shit!" ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Solidarity is important!

I've shared some FTPE shit, but shit no that much. I share that because they are the source. I'm just forwarding it. It's this way for any collection. You don't see collectors giving away pieces of an acient gold necklace.

FTPE has nothing. My people supplied their stuff for a very long time. FTPE got their clip of Peace off Youtube. Lol They have nothing, so I don't really know who the hell your supposed source is.

The only FTPE shit I've fucked with is J-Flexx. All I meant was they are the source for the public consumer.

you should talk to your brother about hooking up with Kameroti  & working out a deal to get it pressed up & sell it, that way he would make his money back on what he paid for it....i would like to hear the album..i'm not gonna beg for it though..but he could make some money off of it...if you thank about it what if something happened to it.. like it got stolen or even burnt up in a house fire or some shit..i would want to be able to get my hands on it again

That sounds like an OG version of "Mr Officer" from the DR Chronic 2000 Still Smokin compilation,  or is it the same version of the beat on C200:SS?

Yeah, I get that, but the problem is no one will respect anybody for that kind of shit. Sure maybe on this site, but down the line the source gets lost and everyone else takes credit. Besides I don't know how much my brother spent or how hard he worked to get that vinyl. That would be some shit to simply post it so a bunch of freeloaders can search google and find it easily at the click of a few keys. Besides it's not my position to leak that shit. It's his. It's his shit. I don't know what he's going to do with the shit he has. Eventually he'll probably hook it up so he can sell it.

I respect that bro, chur. Hopefully with the sale of death row we got some leaks and sales soon!!!

I don't know, if I had some rare shit I'd be hookin up peeps left and right.  There's some heads out there that would love to hear the shit.

Thanks to yall for hooking up the shit you did in this thread though.  But fuck a clip, give us the whole shit.

Realest thing said in this whole thread.

I really don't understand why it always has to be this way whenever it concerns rare/unreleased DR stuff.

I look at it like this, people who are able to get their hands on stuff like that should consider one of three options:

1) Share it for free; if for whatever reason you do not want to share it then:
2) Sell it BUT don't get upset when it leaks cause this is 2008 and ALL music eventually finds it way on the Internet; if for that reason you do not want to sell it then:
3) Keep it to yourself BUT do not go on internet forums talking and bragging about what you got when you do not have the intention to either sell or share it

Me personally if I had any unreleased stuff I would up it on here in a minute and hope it will find its way to everyone who would want it, no matter how much money it would have cost me. Fuck holding on to it, selling it, tagging it, bootlegging it, bragging about it or whatever if I had something like Inside Out or Say Hi To The Bad Guy or whatever I would up that shit immediately and you know why? Because I know there are people like me, people who love this kind of music, people who are diehard DR fans or people who would just love to hear some unreleased exclusive music that would otherwise remain unheard and locked in the vault. But that's just me.

Pretty much, what's the point of letting such good music disappear forever in a dusty closet?
they´re afraid of that they can´t sell that material and they prefer some shit like lil jon and D4L.
thats how it is nowdays, good music is dead!nobody gon buy the unreleased death row stuff, because people are too stupid to feel the greatness.the need to add "50,G-Unit,Obie Trice And Lil´Jon" To Sell It, It Fucks Up Music.Money Is A Root Of All Evil.

How do you feel about Petey Pablo's Way Out There?

Way Out There in my opinion is an okay song, but the rest of Petey's catalog is better than that. Lol.

from what i'm told about the Chronic 2, there was a project intended to be called the Chronic II, but not Papa's Got A Brand New Funk...all the ads for it, were attempts by Suge to one-up Dre when he was leaving the label or had left the label....
