http://www.mediatakeout.com/24899/mto_world_exclusive_50_and_game_have_a_secret_meeting_.html
July 06, 2008. You thought it couldn’t happen …. MediaTakeOut.com just learned EXCLUSIVELY that last week rappers 50 Cent and The Game met at a secret location in New York to discuss future business dealings.
According to a G-Unit insider, the meeting was meant to gauge whether the two artists could work together on future projects – and whether The Game would consider rejoining the G-Unit. The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, “[The meeting] went well. No one has committed to anything, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Game was on 50’s next album [which is scheduled for release later this year].”
We really hope they can work this out. Hip hop needs this….
-
y wasn't i invited to this "secret" meeting?

because look at what website it's from...
and LMAO at T.I.

Game hasnt done the same units the Documentary did so anything is possible
-
50 and Game's situation isn't going to be fixed. Just don't see it happening. If Fif didn't squash his problems with Smurf, I don't see him letting Game back in.
-
I doubt The Game would lower himself to go back and work with/for 50.
-
Too much has been said on both sides for them to ever come together and work peacefully to a point where the public would buy it.

Would the public have bought an album with Pac and Biggie if the two would have came together and squashed their beef!? So why wouldnt the public accept/buy these two coming back together for a reunion?
In the end I dont believe we will see the day that 50 and Game are tight enough to record together. Especially Game joining back forces with G-Unit............ :eh:

i could see them working together but game shouldnt go back on gunit....there wack

Game is way better off without G Unit. He's doing fine without them, and putting out quality shit, much better stuff than anything G Unit has been putting out.
-
Remember the good ol days. Banks, Buck, Game on MTV cribs with their pimped out vehicles. The cameos in eachothers videos. The G-Unit is re-uniting!! It's like the modern day NWA!! GGGGG-Unit!!
"The Game has actually thanked 50 Cent for helping to give him a start as a rapper.
He adds: "I appreciate homey for helping me on my way up.""
Good on you Game, maybe you'll you just bought yourself a ticket on Detox. http://breakingnews.iol.ie/entertainment/story.asp?j=213134340&p=zy3y349zx
Game is way better off without G Unit.
Seeing that Game sold more albums with G-Unit, and seeing that G-Unit was much more popular before the beef, it's a good move for both.
-
Not sure if it was mentioned, but Game just said on some Tattoo site that the artist he would love to work with the most is Curtis Jackson. I found interview on another site, and i'm surprised it wasn't posted here already. He really does want to work with Fifty again, thats no rumour. As for this topic...it's definitely bullshit considering the fact that almost everything this site puts out is garbage.

I don't mean "buy" in the sense of physically purchasing the album. I mean, buy, like believing that they legitimately are cool with one another. I could see Game trying to make peace, only because he's made attempts before. 50 seemed like he was finished with it after the first peace conference fell through.

u never know what could really happen

50 accused me of snichin so i got nothin to say about that fool...
T.I.
-
The Game & 50 Cent on a Dre beat...now that would be cool, they had together some bangers. Doubt he will move to Unit even though they would make things ok.
-
This is 99.9% fake. If Buck didnt say "Fuck G-Unit", get kicked outta the group and there were no Taped Conversation diss songs by Buck and Game, then there might have been a 50-50 chance this was true. The Game always says the beefs over between them, and that if he were to see 50 there would be a hand shake or they would just mind there own business and go there own way but yet he still keeps makin these diss songs over n over LOL. 50's also said hes never gonna work with him and that someone like Game could never be trusted again. I know that shits all talk but still, i pretty sure this is 99.9% fake, if all that bs didnt happen lately then it mighta been true!!!
-
lol @ mediatakeout...that site is a joke
-
i saw an article as well... in a mag. Game said he wouldnt mind working with 50 again.
-
Game is way better off without G Unit. He's doing fine without them, and putting out quality shit, much better stuff than anything G Unit has been putting out.
Way better as in 900,000 when he does his own album and 5 million when 50 gave him the hits??????????
He's using the same promoting plan he used last album dissin gunit. He's not creative at all let him stay where he's at.
And if u didn't know jimmy and 50 going at it that's why jimmy fucked with the sales to show 50 I made you and ill break you.
-
lol G-unit sold 110k first week now on TOS...so if youre sayin Game sold less cuz he wasnt in the group anymore
that would mean that Gunit as a group ait sellin shit cuz of Game..it goes 2 ways nigglet :-*
lol *waits for his denial*

Dummy I just explained the jimmy relationship. Nigga don't nobody like game except the white boys from the burbs look in the mirror. He holds no weight on the outcome of sales he's not that good to do that. I could see if we was talking about lil wayne, but game? Get real.
Lol this nigga love me.

I doubt The Game would lower himself to go back and work with/for 50.

MEDIATAKEOUT= SMELLY DICK > 50 CENT

I doubt it but you never know. And people that said that they've said too much harsh things to eachother to work again are wrong. There's been lots of more serious beefs and they got back together. Especially in this case were 50 didn't say anything disturbing about Game, it was Game that was lashing out at G-Unit.
Anyways, here's what Game said in a recent interview:
You’ve already worked with heavies like Dre, Kanye, and Timbaland—and, obviously, G-Unit before the beef. If you could choose anyone in the world to collaborate with next, who would it be?
If I could work with anybody today, I’d work with Curtis Jackson.
50 Cent? Are you serious?
Yeah. I would. We had our beefs, but now that’s over. I don’t have any problem with the dude anymore. We made dope music when we were working together and we could probably make a billion dollars if we fucking reunited. I don’t know, maybe this article will help inspire the dude. I’d love to work with Curtis again.
No shit? Your “G-Unot” tattoo might make that a little difficult.
Hey, when I got that tatt done, that’s just how I was feeling that day. Whatever I’m feeling on a given day is just how it fucking is. I’m day by day.
-
hahahah "I'm day by day"...nigga a str8 bitch...real niggas is for life..not "day by day" cuzz...u beefin witta nigga..tellin niggas he a snitch and he aint done shit cuzz...and now u wanna work wit him hahah...FUCC GAME FOR LIFE 8)

How old is that interview? Man, id love to see Game and Fif back together, that would be some unreal shit right there, hip hop needs that shit in all honesty. All bs aside, them dudes know how to make some sick music together. I hope 50 considers this shit. BUT damn, if Game hadnt released that new diss song recently and Buck didnt get dropped, this coulda happened!!!
-
50 would never consider doing any type of business with game ever. How many times has game said one thing and the next day did another? Its just something to get people to read what he has to say in other words promotion.
He should try something else. If game died today his legacy would be dissing gunit not good music. It kind of sad cause dude could rap but he just waste time on dissin gunit for 3 years, who gives a fuck any more?
-
i dont kno how mediafakeout make its money. who actually believes them enough to go to the site? they freaking suck. i guess its like for enterainment or some shit..kinda like those "newspapers" at 7-11 with bat boy and nostradamus predicting milk will one day drink me.

I think Game has made great music before/after the split. At that time 50 was on top of his game and Game had crazy buzz from the mixtapes also. 2nd time around, promotion for DA was not that great but he still sold well.
Not sure what you're talking about with the 2nd comment but if it's about the G-Unit sales, that can be attributed to fans not really checking for the other members of G-Unit. 50's buzz has steadily decreased because his music is not quality any more. I doubt that Jimmy would sabotage his own money.

The reason he got on the mixapes is cause of the gunit.Find mixtapes he was on before gunit. They reinvented the mixtape game. Whoo Kid was/is the biggest dj and he was on all his mixtapes.Nelson got all the connects as far as Kay Slay,Big Mike,Clue,Envy,Flex,Cutmaster C, and all them other niggaz. Why dont you understand gunit made the nigga mainstream they crossed him over to everwhere besides the west. It was jimmys idea and he's not stupid and it worked they made the nigga aint nothin wrong with that. The nigga bit the hand that fed him and it wasnt his decison to do it it was d maccs and henchmens to leave gunit and now he sees he they wanted more money cause 50 was worried about gettin games money right not them niggaz extorted him. Jimmy got more money then 50,Dre,And Em its the point of 50 talkin down to him and he's the boss. Its about respect not money when you got 2 powerful people like 50 and jimmy. Understand now??????????????????

I never said they didn't help him. Of course both parties benefited. Game didn't bite the hand that fed him. 50 and Game would still be co-existing but they both have egos. 50 was the first to comment on Game in a negative way on Hot 97 and that's when it really fell apart.
I still don't think Jimmy purposely sabotaged the sales. Quality is not apparent on the G-Unit album and that's why it didn't sell. None of their singles were hits. They pretty much took songs from their "Thisis50.com" mixtapes and ran with it on the retail album.

Game was doing stuff to make him come out on radio to say things. He wasnt loyal to 50.Loyalty over love. I dont watch videos or listen to the radio so i dont really care about there singles. im not into the mainstream singles cause it doesnt have the content i like there i buy albums. im a hip hop head and there are not a lot of those mostly everybody is biased.
-
I doubt that Jimmy would sabotage his own money.
50 only owes like 1 more album to Interscope and has strongly expressed an interest in jumping ship. If his albums sales are weaker, he has less of a bargaining chip when it's time to renegotiate. It's not sabotaging your money by pulling out promotional dollars on an artist who you don't stand to profit as much on in the future. Interscope isn't losing any money on the G-Unit album so it's not necessarily a bad move on their part. Who can say what's really going on? Only people that really know are the cats who work behind the scenes at G-Unit and Interscope.

Well, I don't think Game was doing stuff publicly but even if he did, 50 should have handled it behind doors. That is what a boss should do. Not go on the radio and tell the whole world that Game is kicked out when you have Game on 106 and Park saying he didn't know what was going (I think he also said he was still in the group). Nobody knows for sure what happened or whose fault it was unless you were involved with one of the camps. My guess is that blame can be assessed to both parties, more so to 50 though.
Also, singles are what attract buyers, which turns into album sales, which is what we were discussing. Singles are very important in order to get your average listenener wanting to buy your product. G-Unit failed.

Now this I could agree with. Why invest money on an artist who will leave regardless of the outcome. +1

seee that is where you are wrong . you say that blame can be assessed to both parties, more so to 50 though but that is bullshit . it is more so game to blame not 50 cent . game was jealous of 50 cent being the top dogg & game only wanted to be topp dogg. also game was disloyal as hell . but you don't know waht loyallty means . loyallty mean you die for that person & his enemies is your enemies & you don't hang out with them at all. that is being a traitor if you hang out wth the person who put you on enemies . that is just wrong & that is what game did .without 50 cent game would have been dropped just like busta just got dropped by jimmy ijimmy was about to drop game from aftermath when 50 cent saved him. so game owes 50 cent everything .

Game's biggest misstep to me and again, there may be something I'm not seeing here, was starting an anti-50 campaign when both Dre and Jimmy Iovine have a strong business investment in 50. Beyond anything else, both 50 and Game were artists on Aftermath and Interscope. If you're gonna go against your own label, you better make sure you have everything covered.

50, tell me how my ass taste

as soon as I saw mediatakeout was the source, knew it was 100% bullshit. Don't believe any "news" from that site

I think it was 50's fault because of how it got blown up the way it did. Both of them have big egos so it was only a matter of time before it came apart. I'm talking about the way it unfolded and the aftermath of it. I'm fully aware of what loyalty means, so no need to give me a definition. You seem to have missed the part where I said the matter should have been handled behind doors. Not to some radio station. Making it public knowledge made it worse.

How did the G-Unot campaign hurt Game? He was already out of the group. Maybe in terms of not being able to work with Dre but I don't see that as a big loss. Financially, he probably took a few lumps but it seems as if he is in a better place now. Sure he traveled the rougher route but it turned out fine for him. Game is still releasing quality music and is able to work with alot more artists than he was before.
-
both of these niggas never really wanted this shit. jimmy was the reason that shit went down in the first place. game was loyal at first thats why he went at ja. when jada and joe and nas came into the picture, game was already cool with them niggas. (iif your boss gave you a job you want go at niggas you were cool with already and if you do thats a bitch move.) curtis went after them for gettin on a record with ja, (who the fuck made him ceo of the rap industry) game did not want no part of that and made it known, so curtis gets on the radio and kicked game out and talked about him which shoud have been settled behind close doors. Thats just like a teacher callin out the student in front of every one making a scene instead of talking to a student one on one which would get better results. all this is where curtis was wrong. game was wrong by going at them niggas(g-unit) all out the way he did when dre told him to stop, but then again they did not stop going at him either, and both camps are still going at each other.
as far as who it hurt HELL it hurt both of them cause both have big egos, but i cant fuck wit curtis because of the undacova shit like gettin iovine to keep dre from working wit gameand to push niggas shit back keeping thier kids from eating

Seriously, I couldn't have said it better. Curtis goes at anyone and everyone for no damn reason except to keep his name out in the media.
