West Coast hook master Nate Dogg has suffered his second stroke in less than a year, sources are reporting to Dubcnn. Although the details are sketchy, many sources are stating that the Nate is in serious condition due to the stroke, his second since December 20, 2007.
Sources are reporting that at the moment, Nate Dogg cannot breathe on his own.
Back in December 2007, Nate Dogg, born Nathaniel Hale, suffered his first stroke, which left him partially paralyzed on the left side of his body, However, he was lucky enough to not have any major brain damage.
Please keep Nate and his family in your thoughts as prayers through this difficult time.

Well genetics play a huge factor in heart disease...you can be in great shape and have a good diet and get plenty of exercise, but if this shit runs in your family, its just kind of bad luck. Obviously the weed doesn't help the situation, but you can't tell me people like snoop, daz, or kurupt are taking any better care of their bodies, but they haven't suffered a stroke. Rappers need to get on that LL Cool J regimen.

this is very deep and saddening news. my best wishes go out to nate dogg and his family.
on another note, hypertension (high blood pressure) is one of the leading causes of strokes and heart disease. if you think about all of the factors that lead to high blood pressure and strokes: cigarettes, over-average alcohol consumption (binge drinking), marijuana, bad diet habits, just to name a few, it's amazing more rappers living the happy-go-lucky lifestyle haven't suffered the same outcome as nate dogg.
this is proof of a sad yet crucial realization that your body will only function as good as you treat it.

Details were sketchy at press time, but according to multiple online reports, including TMZ, former Death Row recording artist Nate Dogg suffered a stroke 11 days ago — his second in the past year — but is currently in stable condition.
TMZ reported that Nate (real name: Nathaniel Hale) is hospitalized and is using an assisted-breathing tube — not because it is required, but because it makes breathing easier for him. The site also said reports that the singer suffered brain damage are untrue, and that Nate is currently under sedation.
The site reported that it is too early to tell how the stroke will affect Nate's use of his limbs — his arm and leg were hampered by the first stroke — but he is not able to move much below his neck.

Too young to go. Hopefully they determine the cause and he does something about it. My Uncle had a stroke from diabetes because he never treated it. After the stroke he really had no personality, and was relegated to a wheelchair. He died 2 years later.
