I mean...he was a complete artist. Of course he did have 1 REALLY bad album...but the rest of his work range from solid to great. Dude could make any type of song. I believe most rap fans hate his music because it ain't "Gangsta" enough.

I kind of agree with that one. He got into this whole different vibe once he started fucking with 50. It may have just been what he progressed into with the energy around him at the time but it seemed like Eminem from about 1999 to 2002 or so was just a beast on everything he appeared on. It's not one of his solo albums but I think his work on that "8 Mile" soundtrack was some of his very best. I think around 2003 and with his later stuff like the second D-12 and "Encore", it just wasn't so much what I was into it.
His next album should be "SSLP" style. Bass Brothers, Dre, and Mr. Porter handle the production and he just raps.
But it can't happen like that. He's not that artist anymore. If he tried to be, it just wouldn't sound right. He can make music in a similar spirit but you can't just expect the same results by putting the same team behind him. It just won't happen.

Eminem is the best rapper for those "rocky-type" battlefield tracks, at least for me.
I hope he leaves those gerbils alone and makes more serious songs like toy soldiers and so on, just show the talent and leave the idiot-stuff out

Em was by far the best rapper of his era, no one even close. Jigga, nope, Nas, Nas was better at another time, Em just killed the Bling Era as the best true emcee from that era.

Em is definitely one of the best..I remember when Dre signed him and I found out he was white...I'm ashamed to say that I was kind of upset cause Dre's album after leaving DR did not do what was expected and now he is signing a white rapper?? I did not even like the first single (My Name is)..Then I listened to the entire CD and I was blown away at his skills......Dude sounded so hungry like he wanted to be the best..I don't know if he can come back with that same hunger or not but I want him and Dre to put a classic together soon...Hip hop needs it.
