According to my mom once, she taught me Spanish when it was just me and her, but didn't continue because my dad was very good at Spanish, so I now know English, but am not the greatest English person in the world. And I'm a Mexican that don't speak Spanish...LOL :-[

Yeah, they are very similar. Most family can speak both armenian and persian since they used to live in Iran.

I can basically speak, read n write: English, Hindi, Punjabi, Arabic. Urdu too kinda. I don understand arabic though, but i can read n write it.

Well, Im indian born, raised in the middle east, now in canada.
In other words....
In the middle east in Dubai, U.A.E., I went to one of them private indian schools, they taought english, hindi, french, malyalam n arabic as languages. I took hindi n arabic, learned em from grade 3 onwards. I learned basic arabic till grade 8, I still rememba the language. I learned Hindi so well till grade 10, also cause they show a lota indian programs in the middle east, so i picked up from t.v n shit, became more fluent. My mother tounge is Punjabi, that was my 1st language, I picked it up from my roots n only knew how to speak well, but didnt know how to read n write the language.....until grade 11...thats when i came here in canada, I took Punjabi11 as a course n learned the script n how to read it, i picked it up fast cause its kinda similiar to hindi.
So i know 4 fuckin languages!!! lol

well i'm iraniaan (born there) so i speak persian, i got to a french school in germany so i speak french and german, and i leanred english in music/internet/school/books etc
it aint that hard if you start when you a kid..

well, lets see
i was born in Kuwait, so as a child i learned arabic and english
but i came to canada when i was 6, so i eventually forgot arabic (regret it my whole life), so thats how i know english
my parents are Pushtun afghans, so obviously i learned my mother tongue Pushto, and i have alot of Iranian and Dari Afghan friends, thats how i learned farsi..........
im gonna learn arabic and punjabi/urdu before i die , mark my words

well, i was born in UAE[united arab emirates] ... so you had to learn Arabic and another language till a certain grade....and like Technique said....i forgot it,and regret it...
I was learning Hindi for a couple of years in school as well....plus when spoken, it sounds kinda like punjabi/urdu ...
I quit that and took up french[for like 2/3 years]....[ n kinda forgot that too ;D ]
Punjabi, is my mothertounge so i know how to speak it...but i dont know how to read and write, i can learn it in school here in canada, and jus mite...
Its the easiest to learn languages when your a kid, gets harder when you grow up....
