So far this week Evidence - of Dilated Peoples - has been ever-present on Dubcnn. From the weekend audio update where we reminded you that the upcoming "Layover EP" is being preceeded by a DJ Skee mixtape - from which we provided a track entitled Tip The Scale, over The Game's "My Bitch," a production from DJ Khalil.
Then yesterday we followed that up with a new video had just been released online called "The Far Left", on which Evidence is joined by Alchemist and Fashawn. If you missed that you can watch it via the link below

As promised in that update we would be back today with the free download and streaming audio options for "The Layover" mixtape courtesy of Evidence and DJ Skee. The tape features an array of artists including Defari, Bishop Lamont, Chace Infinate, Fashawn, Dilated Peoples U-N-I, Big Pooh, Aloe Blacc, Fashawn, Mickey Factz, Theo, Kes Kaos, Phonte and on one track alone Montage One, Mitchy Slick, Big Twin, Diz Gioran, Stylistik Jones, Krondon, Rakaa Iriscience and Crooked I!
This Dubcnn Digital Distribution exclusive is available via the links below. On the first you can see the projects full covers and tracklist as well as the mixtape download link. On the second is the Streaming Audio option where you will be able to listen to the tape in full and also get embeddable links for your MySpace, Blogs etc.

Evidence's 'Weatherman' CD was one of the freshest albums of '07. I still remember downloading it (illegally), playing the shit out of it, then leaving work one winter night in the pouring rain without a raincoat or umbrella (ellla-ella) and listening to it, walking along almost laughing at the irony. Sounded so good I stopped in HMV on Covent Garden and bought myself a copy legit.
Umm, so yeah, let me download this.

i downloaded it twice and have uzipped the file numerous times....same problem wit track 7 every time

I downloaded Charles Hamilton's discography from datpiff.com two days ago. I'ma check that out. If I believed in god I would pray that DJ Skee didn't tag/ruin anything. Let's hope so!

The mixtape is dope shit, but Skee did ruin it.. you can't bump it in your car or stereo with "DDDDDD Jay Skee XXX-cluuusive!!" (+ annoying echo effect) on it..
A lot of dope Alchemist, Khalil & Evidence beats on this album, I hope he will release an untagged version..
Too much dope Westcoast music being released with annoying tags these days, fools should take a cue from Chamillionaire's highly successful untagged Mixtape Messiah series, or at least release a street album that people can buy!

I think its because of the long ass track name.
