So I made the decision to move out on my own, im moving out to a guest house that im paying $550.00 a month for which over 6 months adds up to $3,300.00 I am putting a deposit on it on friday and im going to fix it up a little before I move in Jan.. It has a little bathroom, a room, and a little kitchen area... its really small but I can make it work.. Its also in a much cooler area than mine, closer to work and school... a modest little place that needs a womans touch :)

Renting A Guesthouse Is A Bad Idea IMO, I had a friend who moved out and rented a guesthouse off some rich family and it was nothing but problems, he couldnt do anything or make any noise because they would make a big deal about it. We went over as a group to check out his crib and hang out but the owner kept giving us stuff about the noise and how he wrote into the lease 2 guests at a time, bla bla bla.

I had problems with it too when I lived in a guest house, but it all depends on who you live in the house with. I know of many positive experiences as well.

$550, wow that must be really small then. We pay 960 a month but we have a 3 bedroom 2 story apartment.
