not official but dj skees been chillin wit quik , the album is complete and due to drop around april. skee heard the album and quoted as "its modern quik & kurupt in pure form. they did entire album together & the cohesiveness shows" , look out for a track to be leaked soon!

Yeah Skee was saying this on twitter as he was in the studio with Quik, Kurupt and Terrace. He said Quik recreated the 2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted beat using the same instruments and Kurupt was freestyling to it.

Don't get me wrong Kurupt and Quik is on my top 5 list list as far as MC/Producers go.... but together?
Let´s hope they prove me wrong,because I rather see a Kurupt and Fred Wreck album... and another PPC album by Quik,Playa Ham is a beast.

well quik has said its gonna be a more commercial kind of vibe so some people are definitely going to dislike it for that reason. personally i anticipate it more cause its not gonna be on no fixxers shit, its gonna be a crazy new twist on the quik sound...

That's cool....Quik can keep progressing his sound, Kurupt coming nice on the mic lately. I'm sure the sound won't be as basic as the Fixxers stuff.
And let's be honest, anyone who thinks this will be Safe + Sound crossed with Dogg Food is in for a disappointment.

quik ...the only rapper he had that had a raw style but could spit was mausberg..

mausberg was a dumb down kurupt in my opinion... n him n big saccs made mausie a helluva album..
n not to mention... how he quickly him suga free made street gospel..n how that turned out..n free jus spits ol richard pryor, dolemite and lawanda page jokes on wax

kurupt can actually spit n its been a long time since he a-b class producer to show raw naked skills on it..
before i die.. i want quik to go find whatever rock peter gunnz is under n put that peter gunnz quik album together...

Quik has had a lot off dope cats under his wing;
Sugafree,Playa Ham and Mausberg all had heat....
Quiks beats fit perfect with them,but as I said I don't see the connection with Kurupt. :P

i think if anyone expects this one to show kurupts raw mc skills to the maximum then i reckon they'll be dissapointed. his other projects in the pipeline will probably be a better example of that. like they already said this is gonna be a fun, trendy record. i'm sure kurupt will strike a balance between spitting and just having fun and getting funky on the crazy beats. personally i can't wait but there will be people who are underwhelmed and won't like the vibe, saying it's corny or whatever.

From what i know on the feature's from the last time i was in studio..
i know they had "Problem, Yo-Yo, Trigga tre mack, and i know Quik was talkin to raekwon at that time..
as for what the final results for the features.. i dunno.. i havent been to the studio recently so im not sure.. i'd want to find out though.. but we'll just have to wait and see.. and believe me, from what i got to hear.. Quik cooke'd up some monsters.. but lets just wait and see for the final results

I never trust comments like that from artists/producers trying to describe what we can't hear yet. But like i said in my other post, they played two songs (at least what I heard) on 93.5 Goodfellas Show out here in LA last night. From what I heard, I can see where Skee might've been going with the 'modern' comment, but no auto-tune or dirty south snares. Probably was another way to say 'Don't expect Safe&Sound crossed with Dogg Food', like someone else said. Both tracks are dope and definitely erased any doubts I had, it just might be the first great album of 2009.
