-
Yeah, when mine were done they got infected....started bleedin alot, and puss all over the place. Doctor said there was a chance I would lose partial movement of the right side ofmy face...or worse, that the infection could spread into your brain and even cause death....
-
luckily I only gotta get my top ones out and I'm gettin' knocked out... probablly gettin' some painkillers for after too
-
^^im just fuckin around anyways....none of that shit happened lol Just wanted to top the other stories lol. My wisdom teeth never had to come out.
-
I believed what you said up until that last part about the brain 8)

u scared the shit outta me
-
had 1 out...the lower left side. was pretty traumatic didn't get put to sleep for it but after the sedative in my gum started to wear off i was in shock, shivering in bed for a couple of days. pretty bad. the one on the right side is a bit infected at the moment although it never caused as much trouble as the left one. my conclusion - its gotta gonna have to go in the end as well :-\
-
That wisdom teeth shit is nothing. Its more of a hit or miss thing though i guess. I got all 4 of mine out like 5 6 months ago and i was fine after, i only took 1 T3 that day and later on that day i went for a run too hahaha. You just gotta eat softer foods for 3 4 days and thats all!!!
-
yeah it's not that bad at all especially since you're going to have some codeine or other drug. i was fine the next day, except the most annoying part is all the blood gushing out and saliva
-
I had all 4 out when I was 16. I was in and out in an hour. It hurts way more if you get put under. Since you're out cold, they basically just beat the shit out of your mouth. It's better to stay awake.
-
yea i hear it is hit or miss with the pain depending on how impacted they are. I know I wasnt able to eat for like 4 days and my mouth was swollen completly shut.

Nah fuck that. Trust me on this, get put to sleep, your sleeping for like 15 minutes and its over your not even gonna know wtf they did. They wont be agressive as fuck with you, they prob will try harder though since your sleeping. Just dont stay awake, unless u wanna see a bunch of blood and some insane pulling and cracking, fuck that shit, your in and out fast as hell, it aint nothin!!!

haha even tho u said this was fake.. that shit pretty much actually happened to me.. i had alot of problems with two of mine, where one week they were a nightmare then the next they settled down and didnt bother me.. but then in may last year it got real bad and turned out i had caught an infection in 2 of them, was admitted to hospital and advised that all four of them should come out..
anyway when i got the xray taken of my mouth, its turned out that one of the bastards had grown sideways so basically i had half the wisdom tooth goin through my gum and the other half through my jaw.. so not only did i have all 4 taken out i also had to have a part of my bottom right jaw taken out too.. now believe me when i say that was the worst 2/3 week of my life pain was unbearable, didnt eat proper for like a whole month, and it took over two months for the feeling to return properly to my lower right side lip..
so i got great sympathy with anyone who's gotta go through with the whole bullshit wisdom teeth problem! good luck with it dude!
-
Did you get put to sleep when you had them removed?
I had my bottom 2 taken out about 4 months ago and i was put to sleep. Was the first time i was ever put to sleep for anything and it was realllly weird haha. I woke up and i was like what the fuck. The lady said i gave her a weird ass look when i woke up and she asked if i was O.K. haha. Then they wheeled me out to the curb in a wheelchair cause i could barley walk i was so fucced up haha. The guy who did it was very good though, it didn't get infected or anything and i was pretty much back to normal within a week.
-
you cant smoke or drink for a week no?
-
^i smoked the next day...LOL.
some of the worst pain ever, though.
-
you cant smoke or drink for a week no?
yeah, youre not even really supposed to drink out of a straw right away
-
I smoked weed like a day or two after, a little advice if you plan on it, when you smoke don't "suck" too hard. Lightly pull the blunt or pipe w.e you smoke. Also try not to hold smoke in your mouth. Mine healed just fine and i smoked a decent amount but i do not smoke ciggs so :bandit:
-
yeah I heard it's not good to smoke after gettin' them out... dries your mouth out making it worse
I'm not sure about drinking though, that might be different... it could either increase the pain or numb your teeth, who knows, but I'd think it wouldn't be good with the wounds... I know when I was younger and my molers were coming in my parents told me to just take a dab of Whiskey and pat it on my gums in the back, and that actually helped 8)
-
mine were impacted and they didn't put me to sleep I basically had them numb my mouth and I was okay after 4 days...........
-
well I got all 4 of mine out at 2 today... after midnight last night I wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything, not even water, so that already sucked
so when I got there, they numbed my palm and I went into the office and they put the needle in with the medicine and started telling me what it was and what not, and that's all I could remember...next thing you know I woke up and was like wtf, and I can't really remember what I was saying when I woke up either but they were messing with me saying that I talked in my sleep, so then I had to get escorted out in a wheelchair and I was just laughing and shit saying I couldn't feel anything in my mouth and the surgery was nothing at all... after that, got some Taco Bell and Friendly's and was fine, still couldn't feel shit, and then after I came home and took a 3 hours nap I woke up to the worst pain in my jaw ever...
I'm currently spitting blood in a cup and popping Tylenol w/ codiene which is what they prescribed me, and on top of that I already have an eye infection and have a sore throat/cold, and I'm still sore from my first day back to the gym yesterday
today = one of the worst days of my life in a physical way :'(
what sucks more is I can't smoke or drink cuz that will make shit worse... pray for me y'all lmao
-
Got all 4 out in the summer, went under so I don't remember anything, but I couldn't chew anything for 3 and a half weeks and couldn't open wide to chew large food for nearly two months. It's now month 7 and my left side gums haven't fully healed yet. It still bugs me a little like before I got them out. I'm going back this week to make sure everything. The only good thing that came of it was that I lost like 20 pounds (10 already came back them though).

Damn thats serious. Mine healed within a week and i was back to eating normal stuff.
But then again - I only had to get my bottom 2 pulled
-
i still have all my wisdom teeth they came in perfect
-
Well, Aren't you Mr. Lucky
-
I am 22 and I still haven't gotten my wisdom teeth in... is it possible to just not have any? I'm hoping for that... bc I saw my sister get hers taken out and I would not like to go through that!
-
i feel ya pain homie
-
I didn't need to have mine taken out. But when my jaw was broken, part of the break went to the root of my bottom right wisdom tooth and I had that one removed.
I did, however, have 12 teeth pulled as a kid because for some reason, they wouldn't fall out on their own. I would have had baby teeth throughout high school if they didn't get pulled.
