Title: Infinite on Family Life
Post by: infinite59 on March 01, 2002, 02:47:35 PM: I've never felt a sense of belonging with my family. My parents never really opened up about things. And if they did they didn't really make sense to me. I don't tell them anything about myself because they don't really understand anyway. My dad doesn't look anything like me. When he's not drinking, he's really quiet and guarded. And when he is drinking, he's too wound up, and starts acting like a redneck. My mom is always on all these pills throughout the day....she doesn't come down to earth often.

It's scary, because when you don't feel a sense of belonging in your own home you grew up in, you don't feel like you belong anywhere. You feel like a lost soul. Just thought I'd share that, because I was thinking about these things today. Anybody else have the same problem?
