So are humans, but our innate feeling of superiority makes us want to feel benevolent towards the animals, who are considered dumb and lovable. I think it's the less powerful we feel in the real world which makes us more attracted to cute, cuddly, littler beings. Example: chronically celibate and psychotic cat lady. She's crazy and stupid and feels abandoned, so she doesn't appreciate how fucking amazing humans are. You yourself parade around blabbing about the joys of love, but in turn act like love isn't one of the biggest factors in human life. We are incredibly complex creatures, but instead you want to focus on the bad side and cry for our dumb, cute little friends. Fuck all that I say. Animals are inferior in almost every regard, that's why we (humans) are number one. I don't advocate physical violence towards animals or anything for that matter, but when people get all up in arms about seals getting clubbed yet shrug off the atrocities committed towards humans, it's just plain ignorant. those images were taken 20 years back when there was basically no rules
smashing the head of the seal and killing it instantly is the most efficient way to kill them
people who make these videos are really biased, the canadian coastal guard arrested people on a boat who were themselves killing seals and filming it to make people around the world think this is how real hunters do
the proof that those videos are complete bullshit is that their showing the hunt of the blanchon (seal baby). Not one blanchon was killed by a human being in canada since 1988, it is illegal.

Let me tell you something, i've been to this hunt 2 years ago and i can guarantee you that smashing the head of the seal to kill it is the fastest and painless way to do it. Animals are suffering a lot more in regular slaughterhouse , they hang living cows by the feet with hooks and . And i'm not speaking about chikens who get throw alive in boiling water. I suggest you look for actual unbiased information about the seal hunt and you'll see the facts.
