A NEW HIP-HOP SUPER GROUP
What is this going on with Crooked I? I am hearing another good rumor about Crooked. People are already talking about the supergroup called Slaughterhouse, but there is another one forming in the West Coast. According to my sources, this new act is called ......(drumroll)......THE DIRTY DODGERS! I heard that Crooked I (Long Beach), Chino XL (Originally from New Jersey, Now reppin W.C.) and Sinful AKA El Pecador also from Long Beach, known for his Spanish flow. I heard these are the latest monsters to come into the game. Will this dream come true? I hope so! I'm tired of trash rap. Its time for some real Hip-Hop. Don't take that as a diss or personally.

To be honest as much as I love Crook and Chino collabing, I hope that this isn't too true... I'd rather see Crook stay focused on HIS career and Slaughterhouse. If he spreads out too much we're going to lose quality and the projects aren't going to get the attention they deserve.

I believe that in an MTV article that came out after the shooting they stated that "No Counter For Old Men" has been put on hold. Which pretty much means indefinitely.

I don't see this Dirty Dodger group taking off, if it's true? SlaughterHouse is already taking up a lot of Crooked's time as it is. He should continue to focus on SlaughterHouse and grinding on his solo material.
I also doubt that Hip Hop Weekly 2 will happen. Personally, I hope he doesn't do another HHW. It wouldn't have the same impact now that every other rapper has formulated their own daily/weekly/monthly offerings throughout the internet.
The same with No Country For Old Men. While i wouldn't mind hearing Crooked, Bishop & Glasses working together, I'd rather see it geared towards something positive. The recent shooting hopefully made him realize this.
But I agree with EFFeX. If he is taking on all these projects, then he risks spreading himself thin, creatively. I'd hate to see him become redundant and fall off.

Nice find. I still don't see this popping off heavy though. Especially not on the same scale as SlaughterHouse. My guess is this will just be a small mixtape type project with local/regional coverage.

totally agree.....fuck joinin another group, especially one with artists that Crook is even more popular than! not knockin Crook but he should only be with dudes that will bring him more attention across the country. if there's anything positive about it, it's that i respect Crook keepin it underground and true to what he does but god damn just focus on blowin him self up first!

shit, what would be wrong with all these projects coming out? now i could see if it slowed up the recording process, but if he can get it done, fuck it.....personally, i think the dirty dodgers project would be dope, but im a big mexikinz & chino fan from way back.....and no, it wouldn't be a bigger success than slaughterhouse, but why does it have to be? believe me, there is an audience for this album....but i also think a solo album from is LOOOOONG over due, but that really goes without saying......

I have no problem with this group. I just hope Crooked doesn't spread himself thin, creatively. And yes, he also needs to get that "no solo album" monkey off his back too. Which was why I originally thought this new group wouldn't really catch on, due to the SlaughterHouse project at the moment.
I don't know much about Sinful, but I'm a big fan of Chino's music, so I'm always up for Chino/Crooked collabo's. We'll see how this all unfolds.

Honestly speaking.crooked i is my favorite rap artist.I personally rather hear crooked i rap by his self.the only artist that could go line for line with cooked i is sly boogy.man i wish crooked i form a group with just him and sly boogy.that a be a dope.oh and the no country for old man shit is gonna be dope because bishop and crooked i a make history together.But chino,sinful and crooked i group.i dont think thats a good idea.But hey it what it is.

sinful is one half of the group the mexakinz, who have been around the LA underground since the early 90's.....they have a big following out here, especially amongst latinos obviously, and sinful is considered the best mc in spanish (i personally think sick jack would give him a run for his money.....i really wouldnt expect anyone outside of LA or who isnt hispanic to be familiar, but the self titled second album is a west coast classic, ask around.....lately sinful has only rapped in spanish, which i think is a career mistake, but whatever....here are sum good examples of what sinful is capable of:
